Compostion of championship teams last year (1 Viewer)

I play in 4 leagues and last year these were the commonalities between each championship team:

- all 4 had either Gronk or Graham on it.

- 2 had Cam Newton, the other two Brees/Brady

- 2 had MJD, the other 2 had non-elite RBs.

- 3 of the 4 championship teams broke the "most money won in a season" record by a ton.

Is there a website that has the player makeup of teams who won their leagues in the past?
im pretty sure a heavy dose of them had Mathew Stafford and Jimmy Graham on them, i know mine did
I had no QB in the Top 20 and no TE in the Top 10. Just shows that there are a lot of ways to skin a cat.
That was more related to where those two went in drafts at the beginning of last year to where they ended up finishing in the rankings and the strong playoff #'s both put up from weeks 14-16.

I drafted stafford in 7th rd drafted stafford big Ben ray rice Hightower Wallace dez manning ham hernandez

I picked up Cam off waivers traded stafford for Ryan Matthews and fitz

Stafford or Cam

Gronk or Graham

Cruz or Jordy

Sproles

Pair those guys up with solid early rounds and you have a juggernaut. My champ teams had Stafford + Gronk + Jordy and Stafford + Cruz + Jordy, I lost to a team with Cam + Graham + Sproles.

In my 12 teamer, I won and had Gronk (traded Romo for him when Cam emerged to a Peyton owner), MJD (Trader Jackie Battle & Steve Smith when he wasn't getting TDs early), Cam (Drafted in last round), Foster (drafted in first round), etc... It was a landslide.

Did you have a couple guys who hugely outperformed their draft position? Or just get lucky with guys getting hot at the right time?

I had every QB in the world that got hurt last year and basically didn't kill myself at TE (Winslow and Gresham). But I did well at RB (CJohnson, Mathews, Bush, Best & the other DET RBs) and hit it out of the park at WR (Welker, Wallace, Nelson, Cruz, Britt, Flloyd).

I won 2 leagues last year out of 4, and both teams had Stafford, Nelson, and Lynch on them. I know I picked them all after the 5th round and I think Nelson and Stafford were 9th and 10th.

Championship games can be crapshoots and a lot depends on picking up a guy of the ww at the right time or making key lineup decisions for week 16.

I think it would be more helpful to look at the composition of teams that had the best records over the course of the season or led in total points.

Combing through my leagues now for that.

I traded big Ben at trade deadline (wk 10) for graham championship game lineup cam rice Matthews Wallace Fitzgerald Antonio brown Graham won by 3 pts cause opponent lost lance Moore middle of game all playoff teams had a top 6 QB

Our guy had Arian Foster but the big win for him was Jordy Nelson. His QB for MANY weeks was Tebow.

I think the better question is the composition of teams that made the playoffs last year. The best team doesn't always win the championship.
