Concerts thread - FBG's lovin' live music, we're back in action! (3 Viewers)

Saw MMJ this week in Boston. I hate to complain as they were awesome as always but the setlist was pretty week for my taste - no extended streak of bangers, too many lulls, couple of odd choices to kick off encore. And then I check out setlists from shows before and after....ugh. Still loved every second of it but damn If you're not gonna give me a Steam Engine or Phone Went West could you at least throw me Mahgeetah??

Seeing them Monday, pretty excited. I appreciate their dedication to mixing up the set lists.

Probably not super well known, but excited to see Dayseeker tonight (with In this Moment, Funeral Portrait). One of my favorite bands….

How was it?

Saw them first night in Philly and were tremendous. Believe they indicated there would be no repeats when playing multiple nights at the same venue. No Phone Went West or One Big Holiday for our show, but opened with Steam Engine, which was a great way to start the show! My wife, who had never seen them live, was amazed at the transformation from the album versions. Definitely a band to experience live!

Sitting in the Ticketmaster waiting room to buy Morgan Wallen tickets in Ben Griffin Stadium in Gainesville next May. 4738 people in front of me. :excited:

Saw Earth the other night in a 200 capacity club performing the album Hex; or Printing in the Infernal Method .

I also get to see J Mascis solo Saturday night at the same club.

I hear he puts on a pretty rad show.
Saw him in Santa Clara along with Brooks and Dunn. Definitely has some catchy songs. He’s got a rabid fan base - that’s for sure. Pretty good show.
My wife, son and I saw him in St. Louis at Busch Stadium in July 2023. Pretty awesome concert. We had the first row of the second level, so it was pretty cool not having anyone in front of us.

Looking forward to seeing him again. My wife was insistent that we couldn't get worse tickets, so I'm taking a bath on these. Granted, I have never spent money on a concert or a vacation and thought afterwards that it wasn't worth it. Fingers crossed that the trend continues.

We haven't always been hardcore country fans, but over the past 10 years or so, that's all of the live music we have gone to see. Morgan Wallen, Zach Bryan, Jason Aldean, Luke Combs, Parker McCollum (x3 because tickets aren't astronomical). He opened for Morgan Wallen in STL and that's when I started listening to him more.
