with all the talk about cracking down on concussed players with the 'whistle blower' campaign. is it a good idea to automatically move any player who has had a concussion down in my rankings? i know for every concussion you suffer it is that much easier to suffer another one. i just see guys like Trent Green or Big Ben taking one big hit and having the league force them to the shelf for a LONG time.

any feedback on this?

No.If you read all the articles coming out you'll find NFL players saying I had 4, I had 5 I had....and well unfortunately everyone has had them. It's a constant that's been there. I wouldn't adjust your rankings.Aikman retired and some of the reason was due to concussions. If you feel you have an older player that may...well that's a different story.Riddell makes some great helmets and has put out videos that show the force of a hit from a defender and how much less of an affect it has due to their helmet. They're very good and their most recent helmet design is impressive. You could actually get a slight concussion accidentally smacking your head on something around the house. Riddell is likely to hear that the NFL and NFLPA want the helmet to shield them 100%. I don't think it's realistic to ask of them so you may not see that word for word, but you will see some folks all but saying that. From the other standpoint, how can they argue that some concussions would be OK? Both sides are in a tough spot here and the players aren't about to wear foam all over their bodies.
