they're supposed to wait until the tournament for that.Pittsburgh with a complete collapse in progress.

While not an official guideline, I doubt the TSC is going to put a regular-season rematch 1-2 in the same region if there are other options. Is KU even assured of the #2 in the MW at this point? Could be in Florida's bracket as well.
But TSC has been completely tied to location so if Michigan and Wisconsin play in B1G final, loser might be ahead of KU and winner will definitely be ahead of them. If winner doesn't get a 1, they'll get the MW.While not an official guideline, I doubt the TSC is going to put a regular-season rematch 1-2 in the same region if there are other options. Is KU even assured of the #2 in the MW at this point? Would really liked to have seen Nebraska v Michigan tomorrow. I think that would have been a helluva game.GOB said:Ohio st and Michigan survive.
I don't think Nebraska makes it, but they would have been a tough matchup for a mid seed.
Frosty alias?Every year with Wisconsin there's a point where I start to believe in them and soon as I do they fall on their faces.
I think this team is the best they've been in years so I wouldn't be surprised if they lost in round 1.
After looking it all over again this morning, I don't think KU will be a 2-seed at all. They're a 1-seed with Embiid, but a 4- or 5-seed without him. I think the TSC will split the difference and make them a 3.But TSC has been completely tied to location so if Michigan and Wisconsin play in B1G final, loser might be ahead of KU and winner will definitely be ahead of them. I hope you're wrong, but I was also thinking Nebraska needed to win 1 in the conference tournament.GOB said:Ohio st and Michigan survive.

When your school doesn't have football, and their basketball usually isn't very good, this is exciting!!!The Colonials are out, but the season isn't over. They should be getting a spot in the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2007.
Fellow GW alum, and GW season ticket holder here. Great to see them competitive again. Not sure they are poised for a tourney run, but will be good to see them in the tourney again.Hail to the Buff,
Hail to the Blue,
Hail to the Buff and Blue!
All our lives we'll be proud to say,
I hail from GW!
Well we lost to to VCU in the A-10 (or how ever many there is in that conference), but this article from ESPN says important stuff:

With 8 minutes left in the first half, Iowa State was 1-for-16 from floor: 0-for-8 on twos, 1-for-8 on threes.ISU with 1 point over first 7:30...finally hit a 3 to get to 4.
McDermott had no help. 26-10 FTA difference didn't help either. At least the Big east title was won by a real big east team
I think Nebraska's in even with the B1G tourney loss. Had a solid season and wins over bigger name programs.I hope you're wrong, but I was also thinking Nebraska needed to win 1 in the conference tournament.GOB said:Ohio st and Michigan survive.

Watching Uconn fans cry - one of life's small joys.UConn just got trounced on the road by Louisville.
where are they goingNext year Louisville can win 3 straight conference titles in 3 different leagues.

I don't think Wisconsin was ever in serious consideration for a 1. Right now it is between Michigan, Virginia and Louisville. I think they will get it right and give it to Louisville. I hope Michigan gets the #2 opposite Wichita State or even Arizona, but I think they will pair Michigan with Louisville which will suck. After looking it all over again this morning, I don't think KU will be a 2-seed at all. Arizona, Florida, and Wichita State seem to have 1s locked up, and IMO we're down to eight candidates for the last 1 and the four 2s: Wisconsin, Michigan, Duke, Virginia, Louisville, Creighton, Villanova, and Iowa State.
IMO, San Diego State's conference tournament isn't deep enough to give them a last push for the 2-seed, so the only uncertainty left for them is if they will be the 3- or 4-seed in the West.
Those that know are watching VCU/St Joe's...time for Duke and Virginia for the ACC title

It will be near impossible for Michigan to get Louisville as their 1 seed. Much more likely to get them as your 3 seed. But beyond that, last 1 seed is in the East. Nova or ACC champ gets that and Michigan gets the MW assuming Michigan isn't the last one which is most likely.I don't think Wisconsin was ever in serious consideration for a 1. ETA: I don't see Creighton lasting long in the tournament. Let McDermott get his, but the other's can be shut down.
