Hey gang, have any of you guys convinced your wife to get cosmetic surgery to fix things up top after breastfeeding? My friend says he has started a fund for his wife's surgery to fix things up there. I would gladly fork over the cash for my wife to get it done. Anyone have their wife do this? I think my wife would be on board for her own sake, but how do I suggest it in a serious manner (we've joked around aboutit before) without making my selfish motives completely transparent?

Yea, I don't think there's a tactful way of suggesting that your wife get a boob job. She either does it herself or you have a good enough relationship that you don't need to ask this question.

My wife has been breastfeeding for almost two years. We are going away on vacation next month without our son and that will be the end of it. We are undecided about having another. My wife has stated that when we are finished with kids, she wants them.

My suggestion to you would be facilitating conversation with her around other women who nurse. Breastfeeding women are proud of what they are doing and will always welcome a breastfeeding conversation. Facilitate the conversation however you want and remember a lot of women who nurse feel this way, then you have an opening to a real conversation in private, although avoid the La Leche type women, they're usually straight hippies and aren't interested in boob jobs.

The next time she starts joking about it, you need to say: "Are you being serious? You've joked about this a couple of times, so it makes me wonder if this is something you want."

And if that opens the conversation, then all you need to do is say: "I will do whatever makes you happy."

Well, this would just be getting her back to where she was. She was a perfect D and has gone to a droopy B. So it's not like she's going to something she never once was, which I feel is a big difference vs. going to something entirely new.

My wife is about to do this. I got lucky because she had a friend that did the same thing with good results, so it was my wife's idea. Might ask your network and see if any of your other guy friends have had spouses go through it.
