Could be relocating to Tampa (1 Viewer)

I never understood the whole "Root for this team because you live nearby" philosophy. Root for who you like, regardless of geographic location.
Agreed on that count. Always been a Raiders fan despite living in NJ all my life. The only local team I root for is the Devils.

Well, I've never moved to Tampa and have only rooted for the Browns. I could be moving there soon, actually. Never know. I still am not sure how one officially handles sports allegiances upon moving to a new city. Please advise. Someone here surely is an authority on this matter.

I suggest turning into a new Bucs fan. Might as well, since you would join about 95% of the fanbase who have only been fans since the 2002 Super Bowl Run.

All I can tell you is that I went to school in Ohio for 4 years and remained a Steelers fan -- but that was in the 70's so it was easy. It wasn't as much fun to be a Steelers fan when I lived in Cleveland in 1986 & 1987 but I never considered cheering for the Browns. And I did enjoy watching "The Drive".

Sounds like someone needs a mentor. Here, why don't you read this book on "Risk Management", and then *you* can explain it to *me*."Ovaltine? It's gold Jerry, GOLD!"

The real test for you will be if you can learn to embrace the Devil Rays (cause they flat out suck). :yucky:
That's never been an issue for Browns fans!Congrats, you finally have a team worth cheering for! Now don't you feel better? You'll make more money, drive a better car, beer tasted better, women will give you more oral ALL BECUASE you're no longer a Browns fan!

(psst, TB homers, if he beleives that, sell him a home in gator alley! )
