**Cowboys at Browns** (-2.5, 41) 4:25 (1 Viewer)

How many games will that cost me this week losing 6.6 pts in 30 leagues
How you have the same kicker in 30 leagues? :lmao:
Laugh all you want he scored 190 pts last year I will take that
I'm impressed you have 30 leagues. DFF or draft?
I have 65 managed leagues (12 dynasty, 53 redraft) and I have 124 BB leagues (123 in underdog) obviously BB leagues are easy you do nothing it is the waivers/lineups in the managed that are no fun especially waivers and especially seemingly making wrong decision after wrong decision on lineups.

I should only do best ball the lineup mistakes take the fun out of the day.
You need to get some help…….dude!!!!

Cleveland is so screwed with the Watson contract.
Pretty bottom of the barrel Week 1 performance
Not sure if we ever see him at the level he was producing in Houston
Never again.

Here is just an observation of Watsons body language. And this is simply an observation from a myself who has played sports, coached sports and I have even done several mental training seminars with local teams here.

He looks like he has absolutely zero joy playing the game since he came back.

Before the entire massage debacle ruined him…..this kid was a joy to watch play football and his body language was completely different.

It’s over for Deshaun. He will never be a shadow of that guy who was a legitimate MVP contender before it all unraveled for him.

Of course facing this Dallas defense can put you in a foul mood…..but I have specifically been watching his body language since he came back last season and it’s been really bad.

Brady will be fine imo. It’s his first game…..I will give him some rope.

He is a sharp guy and knows a ton about the mental side of playing at the highest level.

I look forward to hopefully hearing more of that kinda insight from him in future games.

This is Brady's premiere in the booth as a Broadcaster
I'm looking forward to hearing Tom call a football game
On the one hand I think he's likely to be stiff and disappoint but on the other hand I'm intrigued with the amount of knowledge he brings into the booth
Might take him a couple games to find his rhythm or he might come right out of the box and put a new spin on things
I can't wait to hear him unload on bad QB play, clock management should be a pet peeve of his, and overall questionable play calling.
The play by play announcer is under an immense amount of pressure working side by side with Brady as well
He stinks!

Very mechanical thus far

Brady doesn't have good pipes and quite frankly, lacks charisma. He's always been stiff so I'm not surprised that people aren't taken with him.
Give the Boys all the credit for kicking our butts today.
Lots of peeps in the local sports talk sphere were out over the tips of their collective ski's falling over the Browns D. It is good but not dominant.

I’m not ready to bury the Browns after one game, but wooooff that was bad.

frustrated they f’d around all preseason and then laid an egg.

still a lot of talent and hopefully they pull it together in the next few weeks.

He was boring, as are most NFL announcers.

He did not say anything egregiously wrong or infuriating, which is better than many NFL announcers.

Thought exactly the same thing as I was watching today. Zero emotion. Deer in the headlights while sitting on the bench. He looks like he doesn't even want to be out there anymore.

It’s been years since Watson’s been good. Not one, not two, but three years. At this point, he looks washed.
Brutal for Browns fans (though so many of them defended Watson as soon as the Browns traded for him). They have no possibility of moving on from him anytime soon unless they’re willing to bench all that money for Winston.

Imagine trading all those picks and spending all that guaranteed money to deal with all the off field stuff and get such putrid production and meanwhile Baker Mayfield is outplaying Watson by a mile.

A big reason why Haslam is in contention for worst owner despite the existence of Tepper.

I'm sure on some level he's embarrassed by his situation. He knows what he did and instead of being punished, h got paid $231m. Now some sociopaths can justify it and keep on trucking but Deshaun looks like he realizes he ****ed up and has to walk out there in front of everyone every week and be reminded of how horrible a person he is. For someone that was the Big man on campus his whole life with people kissing his *** everywhere he went, it's a huge drain mentally.

Yeah…..it broke him. And I am not making any excuses for him. What he did is indefensible.

This was a good kid…..who got into some dark times with vulnerable women.

He looks ashamed. I can see it and sense it.

Your barstool is ready when you decide to waive the white flag

Watson was pretty much horrible. The plays he wastes when he has guys wide open and won't hit them is criminal
He has no confidence for whatever reason.
Two back up Tackles or no starting caliber Tackles did not help him.
You spend $250M guaranteed and you don't build him an OL?
Other QBs have played better in Stefanski's system in recent seasons, better than Watson who seems to be the worst QB in recent seasons running this offense

1-11 when Watson was under pressure, 6 Sacks!
43% of all Plays went for 0 or Negative Yards, that's not gonna cut it

-This is not an overreaction Monday take, we've seen the Browns not do well under Watson for a couple seasons now, he's had time to get past his off field issues
