Cowboys at Texans (1 Viewer)

Just to bring Texans fans back to earth ... as good as the offense looks and as optmistic as you are, take a step back, close your eyes, and imagine Schaub hitting Reggie Bush in stride in the flat.

Because until proven otherwise, you're still that team.

Enjoyed the game immensely last night. Texans need work on pass protection and pass rush still, but were doing a good job opening holes for the running game.Glad to send them Yankees from Dallas packing back up to Oklahoma or wherever it is they are from. Best shirt seen at the game: If the Cowboys are America's Team then I'd rather be Canadian.
You know it's bad somewhere when you take pride in winning a preseason game.
I'm not getting that impression from Texan fans. I think they are pleased at what they are seeing compared to how they have looked in the past. If I was a Texan fan I would be happy as hell too at the progress regardless if it's a preseason game or not.
I meant that as more of a joke than anything else...........if I truely thought some place was actually bad, I'd be more inclinded just to think that way and not type it on a public message board. But my stance hasn't changed in the fact that nobody should get overly excited about a preseason win. I get the fact that both teams are from the state of Texas.........but the outcome of the game doens't matter. I also understand that the Texans haven't had a lot of success in their past and are chomping at the bit at something to root for, that's cool with me. But as someone who's seen A LOT of football and a lot of preseasons, don't count on it being an reliable indicator as to how their season is going to go.Again, gratz to the Texans. They certainly played with a lot of intensity.
