Cowboys @ Redskins flexed to Sunday Night Football (1 Viewer)

Boy what a great rookie QB class it was this year!
We won't see another year like this for rookie QB's in a long time.
Does Cousins count in this rookie QB onslaught? He did come in and come back to win vs the Ravens and then had his own full game win the next week. Gonna be 3.5 rookie QBs in the playoffs this year, all of which (except .5) are candidates for ROY. Unreal. Could rival the 84 (?) class when all is said and done.

Cousins really only played 1 full game so there's no way to know at this point (in my opinion) how good he really is. Looks quite promising I agree, but 1 game isn't much.

No and did you mean 83?

Yes. I actually had 83 at first but it didn't look right.

still 84 had Boomer, Hos, Jay Schroeder, Steve Young (supplemental)

The Cowboys have had so many chances, it's hard to believe they are playing for the division title. I am excited that Dallas is playing Washington in Washington for such a meaningful game on Sunday Night.

However, Dallas is up against it. I can feel the wheels moving in Washington, they are going to be difficult for any team to beat in the NFC. Dallas will have to play a near perfect game to win plus the ball will need to bounce their way. I don't believe they'll be able to stop RG3 and he'll hurt Dallas with his legs on key 3rd downs.

I'll have my Dallas gear on and expect an entertaining game, but if Dallas gives up 30 plus points they lose. They need to win this game 31-24' 28-17 but if Washington gets rolling and put up 30 plus, Dallas loses by 7 or more.

Cannot wait for this game.

Washington is the favorite-deservedly so. However, I'm NOT ready to just roll over and concede the game to the Skins. A few discussion points:

-In the Thanksgiving game, we were without Murray and Austin. Dez still score 2 TD's against double coverage. This team has been different with Murray in the line up as other teams have to respect the run.

-3 of Washington's TD's were massive coverage blows. The First TD, Armstrong I think, Garcon's and Moss rolling in into the end zone. Any improvement there will help the Cowboys.

-RG3 and his health. Big running threat. Yet last week he went for 2 for 4. Despite his claims and the rats coachspeak, I find it hard to believe he is 100%.

If Dallas can get off the field on 3rd and longs and the team can move the ball through the air with decent protection, I see a 3 point game. Always prefer seeing Dallas as an underdog, they seem to play better.

They never claimed RG3 was 100% last week, but it was an almost meaningless game and Griffin's first back from injury. They weren't about to risk re-injuring him in that game with this one on the horizon. With so much on the line this week, he'll be running for yards if he really needs them. When it comes to scrambles and rushing yards, you should forget last week's game ever happened...This week will be a completely different situation for RG3.

I agree, it's not relevant. He did look to be favoring the injured leg. If I am the Cowboys, I am run blitzing and keeping 1 safety high the whole gameforcing RG3 to beat me on the edges and with his arm.Gonna be a beauty.

Destroyed San Fran...and if the games had not been so lopsided his numbers would likely be even more gaudy.
Exactly. Because the Seahawks, as a TEAM, (especially their Defense) are so good, Wilson isn't asked to do as much. RGIII hasn't had that luxury, and has still led a worse team to a similar record. Wilson didn't have as good a statistical year, and he won't (IMO) beat RGIII out for ROY.

In his last 4 games, Wilson has 725 pass yards, 8 TDs, 300 rush yards, & 3 rush TDs, 4 wins, & a WC berth. RGIII and Wilson have produced very similar stats in their last few games, so how has Wilson "put himself ahead?"
Actually... weeks 13, 14, 15 & 16 stats look like this:RG3 44/71 603 yards passing 4 TDs 1 Int 14 rushes for 110 yardsRW1 59/94 817 yards passing 8 TDs 2 Int 27 rushes for 204 yards RG3 got pulled because he got himself hurtRW1 got pulled because they scored too many points
Try reading my post again. I didn't say anything about weeks 13-16. I said their last 4 games; since RGIII missed a game, your manipulated stats favor Wilson. My numbers compare the last 4 games by each QB, which shows that Wilson's recent play HAS NOT separated him from Wilson.

RGIII's play, however, almost separated him from his leg. :) Look... I've watched Griffon play all season and he is awesome... and he deserves to win ROY. But... he does need to make better decisions when running. He takes more hits than he needs to and I'd hate to see his career shortened because of that.

Who cares about RG3 vs. Wilson!

This thread is about one game for the East!

Being a Cowboys fan, I fully expect them to lose to the 'skins tonight. But, anything can happen. Hopefully its a good game.

Need to get Murray goin and keep RG3 off the field. Red Jesus better not abandon the run if we done by a score!

Lets go Cowboys!

Its a game where I'd like to see Dallas come out chucking the rock and score early....then try to work the run in as the game goes on.

There are some pretty big wind gusts in DC today. I'm not sure how Fed-Ex field is with regard to wind, but I can see it having an effect on the passing game.
