He'd be killed dead within 10 minutes behind that line. I'm not kidding. If Bledsoe doesn't retire, he is another candidate for the Raiders.

fine with me.the Raiders aren't known for making smart personel decisions are they? He'd be killed dead within 10 minutes behind that line. I'm not kidding. If Bledsoe doesn't retire, he is another candidate for the Raiders.
Firstly I think the Raiders getting bashed for making bad personnel decisions is justified to an extent, but is somewhat overdone. I mean who saw Gallery having a total meltdown three years ago when they drafted him? Can't blame them for that entirely. And they have put together good defensive and special teams units. Yeah they went after the shiny object in Moss and got burned and their O line has been atrocious, but the Raiders aren't as far away as people think from contending for a wild card if they can address the offensive line.I also think Bledsoe would retire before he'd submit himself to that.fine with me.the Raiders aren't known for making smart personel decisions are they? He'd be killed dead within 10 minutes behind that line. I keep seeing this one over and over again, and its one of predictions that makes the least amount of sense to me.The first reason is that Turner and Jacobs have very similar skill sets, and it seems like the Giants are going to give Jacobs a shot at being the man. I think they should as well. The Giants need a compliment to Jacobs, not a clone. The second is the Chargers will tender the highest RFA offer to Turner, meaning if someone else wants to get him they have to a)match or beat that salary and b)give up a 1st and a 3rd round pick. A team in the Giants' position seems very unlikely to me to want to pay that price, especially considering what happened the last time these two teams made a deal.I also think Turner ends up with the G men
Ugh. I do not like that 'trade'. If AD does decide to go, I hope it's not in the division. The really crazy prediction would be if Baltimore can keep him with Nolan, Lewis, and every other team with cap space eyeing him.Joey Porter cut by Steelers. Steelers sign OLB Adalius Thomas from Baltimore. Ravens sign Joey Porter who starts along side of Ray Lewis. (Crazy!!!!)
Definitely one of the downsides of putting together a good team -- the challenge of keeping them together. Someone always seems to be willing to overpay although it is usually for a glamour positionUgh. I do not like that 'trade'. Question around Nashville: How would Adalius look as a down DE?Definitely one of the downsides of putting together a good team -- the challenge of keeping them together. BINGO!!!!I've been saying this for awhile, if they don't go hard after Gonzo I'll be pissed. They get Gonzo, or maybe Eric Johnson, Packers fans will be looking at being the frontrunners in the NFC in 2007.Favre stays put, Gonzalez to the Packers![]()
Educated Prediction - Tony Gonzalez to the Packers - makes a lot of sense as it fill a few needs. The Pack needs somebody who can legitimately take pressure off of Driver. They also lacking older players that Favre can relate to. He doesn't really have much in common with the younger guys and the Packers are the youngest team in the NFL.With Tony Gonzalez, the Packers are a legit Playoff team.

I don't know where you're getting that from. Their price last year was a first-round pick, and that will be their price again this year. Why would they have to give up a 1st...I thought it would be a 3rd or so to get Schaub?Favre wouldn't come back for another year if they use their first-round pick to acquire his replacement instead of addressing other concerns.Favre comes back in 2007 for one more year and Green Bay also acquires his eventual replacement in 2008....Matt Schaub.![]()
I also think Turner will stay in SD. Why would they let him leave? If LT goes down, and he gets a lot of touches obviously, they would be screwed without someone to step in. Turner is probably the most important backup in both fantasy and the NFL. He's proven to be capable in the past. They know he could step in and perform well if need be. If the Chargers let him go, they're risking their entire season on the health of a guy who touches the ball as much as anyone in the league.I'll try another one, since there is a lot of Turner talk.Michael Turner is retained by the Chargers. After LT2 goes down in Week 3, courtesy of the Madden Curse, Turner will put up top three stats for the remainder of the season and end as a top 5 FF RB.![]()
