Other than you spelling? :goodposting: I would say its a concern. He relies on speed and if he has a bad foot I would think that affects his speed.

If anybody from CBS ever frequents the pool, please tell your opinion writers to stop with this:

Hopefully this foot injury is just something minor, but his owners will be hoping he returns to practice on Thursday. When healthy, Jackson is a must-start No. 1 Fantasy option.
The bolded part - NO ####! (well, actually, the entire quoted part is painfully obvious). But the point here is that he might not be healthy - at least not 100%. Who does that and why? If he was healthy, what would be the point of the blurb? - and concluding it with one of the more obvious statements in FF is just silliness and a waste of the read and the typing it out. Yep, CBS - you can't overpay for analysis like that.

It didnt look like it was all that bad, Hey Witten had a high ankle sprain and he played and had one of his best games.. D jack should be ok, if not hes a wuss...

Not saying there isn't anything to his 'injury' but he is a bit of a diva and attention hound (to say the least). Personally, I felt that his repeated trips to see the trainers was 70% look at me and 30% injury.

At this point, barring additional information later in the week: Start him if you got him.

not sure I agree with this notion. If you watched the Dallas game - on the 91 yard TD, I don't think anyone gets close to catching him from behind if he is 100%, and he nearly got tackled at the 20. Second, after the TD he was clearly limping all the way back to the sideline.

I think he's not going to be 100% and clearly the Eagles are aware of this. The rest will do him good till Sunday. I wouldn't be worried about starting him but perhaps Maclin sees a little bump up if he gets sore as the game goes on.

I agree that he will play, but with both he and Vick being nicked up, and playing on the road in a hostile environment, I fully expect the Philly O to underperform this week. The Giants D line should be in the backfield all game!

I second that notion. The way he ran (apparently limping) for oxygen after the TD against Dallas was a bit goofy. Not saying he isn't TWEAKED but he has had issues with not wanting to return punts and guess what? If I were a betting man I'd bet he probably wont be returning punts this week. Also, he wasn't in any rush to get some ice on the injury, rather he gave the post game interview -- if it were more serious, my butt wouldn't be on tv giving interviews.

He had a 91-yd touchdown catch on that bum ankle, as well as at least one other catch, iirrc. I'd much rather he be healthy, but he's going in my lineup. No question that he plays.

DeSean Jackson: 'I'll be ready' for Sunday

DeSean Jackson (foot) doesn't expect to practice Thursday, but he insists he'll be fine for Sunday's game against the Giants.

"I'll be ready Sunday," Jackson said. "That's all that matters." Jackson outran the Cowboys secondary for 91 yards after suffering the injury last week, so it shouldn't have a significant impact on his play this week. We're starting him with confidence as a top-10 option. Dec. 16 - 1:06 pm et
