Da Bears in week 8 (1 Viewer)

Raider Nation

Devil's Advocate
:o Wasn't so long ago that Chicago couldn't score 17 points in a game.

Incidentally, the Bears had a bye this week. Cedric Benson took the blame for it.

The better question would be will there be more real time or garbage time for the Bears players. It makes a sweet matchup like T. Jones iffy, and you begin to wonder if C. Benson would be the better play.

I assume we will be seeing a rather embarresed and ready for blood Bears team. Saying that, the 49ers are rested as well and 17 point spreads in the NFL are a scary thing to give. There will be better places for your money next week.

A mistake or 2 by Grossman and the Bears probably still win easily, just makes that 17 a little tougher nut.

Considering I have to start Benson due to byes....let's hope for at least a 17-point margin!

If i didnt have a hard and fast rule against betting on Bears games i'd take the 9ers to cover, and probably the under. These are two offenses that have played over their heads quite a bit.

Will the Niners even score?
Similar to the Cardinals, the 49ers played very well against the Bears in pre-season. Alex Smith led at least two scoring drives against the Bears #1 defense. While pre-season means little, at least he will have a little bit of confidence going into this one. As a Bears fan there is no way I bet that line. I think the Bears come back to Earth and begin to play close games again.
