Cueto is 2500 cheaper on fanduel than Wainwright. I liked what I was able to build with that extra money.

Wind's blowing in at Wrigley. You can get Belt or Hosmer for cheaper.

Neither of those guys are facing Brandon McCarthy

I have this so far. Like the SF/COL and TOR/BAL games to be high scoring, Houston/Seattle has McHugh vs. Erasmo on the mound

I actually rate McCarthy to be a little better than he's shown so far, before tonight he had a crazy 36% HR/FB rate (he's around the normal 10% for his career), and he doesn't give up many fly balls at all. He's hittable, but when he normalizes those hits are, theoretically, rarely going to be the big kind.

Chatwood in Coors tomorrow early, and possibly a good matchup against Miley, again, depending on the wind.

Afternoon games:

TEX/OAK is Perez/Gray, could be low scoring,
SF/COL is Cain/Chatwood... but in COL. I'm tempted by a cheap Chatwood to go with Samardz
HOU/SEA is Cosart vs. Chris Young - yes please
CHC/ARZ is Samarzja/Miley - like the Cubs here

Tenatively have this for the afternoon:

P Sonny Gray P Tex@Oak $10,700
P Jeff Samardzija P Ari@ChC $10,300
C Jason Castro Hou@Sea $4,200 - batting 3rd
1B Anthony Rizzo Ari@ChC $4,000 - batting 3rd
2B Jose Altuve Hou@Sea $4,200 - batting 1st
3B Mike Olt Ari@ChC $2,800 - batting 6th

I copied most of this because I didn't have time to look at anything. Could do Vmart at catcher or Raburn at 2B on draftkings though, plus I don't think I could afford Vmart...so I have Hanigan and M. Ellis. Oh, and Tyson Ross as my other pitcher.

FWIW, I think Raburn against any lefty is an auto-start.

Wish I could put him at 2B though.

Gonna switch it up if the wind's blowing out tomorrow, obviously.

I had $85 spread across 6 contests for the early games.

After all the games went final, I turned that $85 into $85.50

Also thinking about doing a Tampa/KC (vs. Ubaldo/EJohnson) stack for a couple larger tournaments, so look for them to be shut out tonight.

Is anyone favouring away batters because they're guaranteed to hit in the 9th inning? I haven't been paying attention to this but read it in the comments at Fangraphs, and it makes sense, though I don't know if it's enough of a factor to choose one guy over another - maybe as a tie breaker.

I've been struggling with pitching the past few days. Seems I can't pick a winner. On Fanduel, with only one pitcher, this can screw up your entire day. So you should probably fade me and avoid Tyler Lyons in the early games.

Took a week off after a cold stretch. Decided I'd play a few tonight, set my lineup, without looking at weather reports and have three reds :wall: :wall: :wall:
