This game isn't over.
me right nowWTF is happening?!
I get it……but I have seen kickers not choke on bad snaps. He really hooked that. You know….the holder did a great job getting that crap snap down.
Kicker choked.
Messed up his footing. I used to be a kicker in DI-A for a bit, before it was FCS and all that. If you screw up the snap or hold, it throws the kicker’s timing off. Take a step and try to step back and then kick something. You can’t.
He should not have scored that TD they are 99.9% likely to win anyway but if he falls down game over
uh oh never good when both teams motion to the sidelines...

Correct. Going down was the right move.
Both teams were hot garbage, Dallas slightly less so.Solid win.
41 in the 4th quarter lolThis has to be the record for most combined pts scored in the final 2 minutes or something like that, right?
Your prediction was almost completely spot on. I did not expect Dallas to come out in today's game and shut down Washington the way they did. Washinton should have had that game in the bag until Seibert missed the extra point. Washington definitely has been in a drought recently in games, but the team is young enough and has enough talent to bounce back and get their ducks in a row again.I'm not ready to trust Washington's defense yet, so I think this game is closer than expected.
Washington's CBs are pretty bad, and I think Lamb is still pretty motivated to play, so he should have some success. While I won't echo the WR1 overall ranking, I think top-10 is very doable.
For Washington, I think Dallas actually wins the line of scrimmage a little bit with Parsons back. I think if he allowed to, this could/would/should be a week Daniels does a lot on the ground, but I'm not sure if that's what Washington wants. Trevon Diggs being out, should make for at least 1 long catch for McLaurin this week.
Washington-27
Dallas-20
That's Kingsbury's playcalling --- throw tons of 1-yard passes and forget Robinson.Shocking, has disappeared IN EVERY 2nd half this year. He's absolutely killing me.Hurt early in first quarter. Game back on later. Have not seen him in second half.Robinson sidelined?
Daniels needs some weaponsWashington was #10 in Power Rankings coming into the game.https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-power-rankings-week-12-2024-nfl-season
Certainly not great. But I'm entirely comfortable calling them a good team.
Correct. The blown play td cost me a ff winMcLaurin scored an 86 yd TD
5/102 were his totals
So he was 4 rec for 16 yds prior to that completion?
WAS is not good yet. Simple as that.
After dumping Tom Landry, that was the only game I watched that year.Even going 1-15. That one win was the redskins
They're terribly weak on the O-line as well. They get no pressure on QB's without sending extra men, and don't stop the run well at all. Kinda like the baseball player who's a lousy fielder but he can't hit.WAS is not good yet. Simple as that. They are far far better. They made big strides, but the lack of WRs and CBs is a huge problem. Only so much can be fixed in a year. Daniels was the most important piece of talent.
Commanders offense
This rut has to be more than Jayden Daniels' bad rib, doesn't it? The Commanders lost their third straight game, but the underlying issue is an offense that doesn't look much like the one we saw before Week 7, when Daniels was hurt, and has dropped off dramatically during the losing streak. It didn't come alive until the fourth quarter against the Cowboys, scoring only nine points in the first three quarters despite starting three early drives in Dallas territory. Five drives ended after only three offensive plays, one of them when Daniels was intercepted. In Weeks 1 through 9, Daniels' completion percentage was 71.5. In Weeks 10 and 11 (both losses), it was 59.1, and on Sunday, it was 65.8. In Weeks 1-9, Daniels' touchdown-to-interception ratio was 9-2. Since then, it's 3-3. Worst of all, Sunday’s loss came against a struggling Cowboys defense and risks dropping the Commanders out of the NFC East race.
Right now, firmly in the middle of the pack. They've had an easy schedule and impressed early with some blowouts. They have a couple wins that should have easily been losses (first NYG game and CHI) but I can't really think of any losses that I'd say should have easily been wins (PIT game is the best argument). So, 7-5 with a couple fortunate wins against an easy schedule screams "average" to me. I think they can probably get to 10-7 and hold onto that last WC spot. If that happens, I'm fine with the "good" label at the end of the season. But, they are trending in the wrong direction and I think there's a decent chance they are 9-8 and miss the playoffs, which would be pretty "average".WAS is not good yet. Simple as that.
Where would you rank them on a Power Ranking?

Yeah, I guess. I don't know much about the rest of the league to do any kind of actual ranking. Just from watching the Commanders and assuming a typical distribution of teams (although, admittedly, it does appear this year is loaded with bad teams), middle of the pack is about all I can say. Whether that's 16 or 13 or 19 or something else in that range, I have no idea. My guess is there probably isn't usually a big difference in that middle tier of teams to worry about exact ranking.Right now, firmly in the middle of the pack.
