I agree - you can get a detailed heart scan that would show any defects or blockages for $500 - don't know why more people don't do it at least once.This is terrible, and another reason why EKGs and heart X-rays should be mandatory for Athletes. I have had mine done and my heart is good as gold, but some of these guys have minor problems that when pushed to the limit can KILL them. This is just sad news, you'll never know what someone could accomplish once they're dead, and he had his whole life ahead of him
