Otis, I am so sorry this didn't work out. You had me very tempted but the 4 knee surgeries at such a young age kept me from picking him up. Thanks for the heads up and don't stop!
Glad I traded him and 2 late 1st rounders for Randy Moss.....is this the operation where he gets a robotic limb like in I Robot? if not, whats left to operate on? being a niner fan this reminds me of Garrison Hearst and his ankle, hopefully it turns out as well
nahbump FinleyBump Amendola?
You are, I am, we all are... especially Otis. You're heart aches for a kid like this.
Between Alexander and Jerome Harrison, Otis has missed big-time on his boldest predictions. You are, I am, we all are... especially Otis. You're heart aches for a kid like this.

is it really unlucky? Its his 5th knee surgeryUnlucky for Danario, was really hoping he would get a chance to show what he was capable of this year. Guess the hype train will start up in 2-4 weeks again!
Yeah, I'd say it's pretty unlucky for him to have had his 5th knee surgery before he turned 23.is it really unlucky? Its his 5th knee surgeryUnlucky for Danario, was really hoping he would get a chance to show what he was capable of this year. Guess the hype train will start up in 2-4 weeks again!
I still love Danario's talent and the kid has a great attitude; I'm holding in dynasty. Harrison is, well, an afterthought. My post was more about a play on words than anything else (You're heart aches).Between Alexander and Jerome Harrison, Otis has missed big-time on his boldest predictions. You are, I am, we all are... especially Otis. You're heart aches for a kid like this.

hes made of glass. so useless. You're heart aches for a kid like this.
If he is made of glass, wouldn't that make him recyclable?hes made of glass. so useless. You're heart aches for a kid like this.
Not necessarily. I personally had this done and saw a few guys in the waiting room with it too. In today's world it really is more like no big deal. Took two days for swelling to go down from 2-3 stitches and I was good. Granted I wasn't taking NFL hits and all those differences, I only mention for perspective. Often times someone with a torn ACL also has a torn meniscus and I think that's where the misunderstanding is created. If it is a repair, like the report states, he is done for 2010. Watch for IR announcement...
How is Alexander a miss? Kid had a huge game in his very first game as a pro. It was a huge game football-wise (made big plays to get his team a win) and it was a big game fantasy-wise too.Not sure how he can be considered a "miss" because he got injured.Between Alexander and Jerome Harrison, Otis has missed big-time on his boldest predictions. You are, I am, we all are... especially Otis. You're heart aches for a kid like this.
Rams WR Danario Alexander (knee) missed Wednesday's practice.Alexander is unlikely to return before Week 11 against the Falcons.
Danario Alexander (knee scope) has progressed to conditioning drills on the side of Rams practice.Alexander isn't going to play in Week 10, but he may be available for his usual limited role by Week 11 or so. "The little procedure I had, it's probably not going to take long to come back from," he said. "I plan on playing in the next couple of weeks. We'll see." Alexander is not yet doing sprints.Source: St Louis Post-Dispatch

for followup or reference/understandinghttp://www.arthroscopy.com/sp05005.htmI looked some of this up for S. Breaston if its an outer tear and the Doc just cuts it away (fast rehab) If its more inner (less blood flow) and a actual repair is done (not to fast rehab). I still dunno if it was a repair but Coach says Breaston playin this wk...
I dont wanna change focus of thread but Twitter update Greg Matthews signed to Rams practice sqd. (might want to follow this) I really thought Chi would play him, but Rams do have more need.
Danario is the most polished, the most talented, and in the best situation. I've been struggling to hold onto him in a 10/23 league. I wouldn't drop him for President Ford or Bishop Tutu. I think he'll get more reps this year, and if he does well with them - and survives - then it's good mojo going into next year. But if he's hurt again or does nothing, at least you know, and can dump him easily.California said:I'm debating between guys like Ford, Tutu, and Danario for my final roster spot in a dynasty league. I only have room for one.I think Danario has the best physical skills of the three but his injury history is a major red flag. Tutu has Rivers throwing to him but he's got a lot of guys ahead of him on the depth chart when they all get healthy. Ford looks interesting but Raider WR's are a crapshoot.
