Somebody, on twitter maybe, made the observation that guys like this and the departing Will Hurd are really good for the GOP because they can help convince the party to stop doing things that scare and threaten minorities. And we all benefit from that.

I was thinking more his stance that there is no actual discrimination against blacks or other minorities in this country (assuming he still believes that as I haven't listened to him in years).
