The link from 2004 give the dollar amount and years ($25 million over 6 years) which included an $8 million signing bonus, leaving $17 million to be dispersed over the six years. This means he's currently in year three of the deal with three years remaining.

Anyone know the breakdown of the yearly salary through the six years? I'm confident it's backloaded in the final years, but not sure of the specifics.

Further question now. Is this a bargain contract for the Seahawks? Seems like it to me.

I would consider it a bargain. His max cap number in 2009 is only $6M. If they were to cut him after 2007, they'd have a cap hit of ~$2.6M or $1.3 over two years if cut after June 1.

Even if they were to cut him right after this season, the cap hit would only be $4M.
