Darren McFadden is no doubt a stud, but can his skill-set translate to hall-of-fame success in the NFL? McFadden has the speed, vision, power, and size to perform at a high level in the NFL, but I question whether he will be a true everydown back in the NFL. At Arkansas, he played often at the QB position, and utilized trickery and the element of surprise where the defense had to guess if he was going to hand the ball of, run, or pass. Play calling like this does not work all that well in the NFL. He will no doubt be utilized like a Kordell Stewart and create play options, but my question is if he can become and everydown back that takes 25 hand offs and run up the gut consistently with success. What do you guys think and what have you seen that would suggest he can either make the transition and be a stud in the NFL or here-and-there player similar to that of what Reggie Bush has become?
