A lot of (relatively unsubstantiated) speculation that maybe all the various hits to the head caused CTE. No way to know, given his method of death. I think it's possible, but it's also a sad reminder that we don't ever really know how someone's life is.

Police in Greenville, N.C., say they found Mirra "sitting in a truck with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound."
