If you knew how filming works, you'd understand that there is probably .0000001% chance that they filmed at 52 separate celebrity homes to "get it right." Now, maybe HF was in on it, but I assure you that filming at multiple locations to get one trick filmed is not what happened.I've dabbled in magic. Ford is shown the cards as Blaine riffles the deck face up and asked to pick one in his mind. The 9 of hearts is suggested via a slight pause in the riffle. it will stand out in Ford's mind because of this small glitch or pause by Blaine. Also people tend to choose hearts or spades and tend to choose odd cards over even, so that makes the suggestion even more powerful. The card in the fruit has been planted beforehand along with a few cards in other pieces of fruit. Blaine gets Ford to pick that piece of fruit with how the fruit is positioned and the way he points to it and there are other strategically placed pieces of fruit with the same card inside. Ford is stoned (not drunk) which helps immensity. If the trick doesn't work they just won't show it on tv. It probably didn't work in most if not all of the other homes he was in for that special. If you went to 52 of your friends homes with a camera crew and did the same thing, odds are you'd hit it one time. That is what you show on tv and you'll look like a miracle worker. Blaine's chances of pulling it off are much better than 1 in 52, probably closer to 1 in 10.
We don't know what happened in the seconds before the video started when he asked the question.^he asked Harrison to think of a card before he showed him the deck and told him the card would be missing from the deck and then he looked through the deck.
Im about to watch empire with mine!Just finished watching jedi with my 2 girls
That's how all of Blaine's specials work. They only show the hits. Put 20 hits in a row in an hour special and he looks like a God. I didn't say they filmed at 52 celebrity homes, i said you could do a card trick like this and odds say you'd be right 1 out of 52 times. Has he ever performed all of his tricks he shows on tv in a nightly show with a live audience? There is a reason why he generated backlash amongst many established magicians. I much prefer the great Ricky Jay. Now that is talent. If you knew how filming works, you'd understand that there is probably .0000001% chance that they filmed at 52 separate celebrity homes to "get it right." I first saw Ricky Jay in David Mamet's House of Games. What a talented performer he truly is!Willie Neslon said:Now this is magic.
