One of the horrors of reality is that you might have to wait 9 yrs for someone to respond to your post on an internet forum. Is there a floating bottle emoji?

as son of a woman who has said daily novenas for almost 90 years, i have a lot of connections in Purgatory and hear regular updates on Wallace. tragically, God thought that a leading creator of literary purgatories such as DFW should spend a good long time there before the mandatory damnation his suicide requires. not only can;t one escape Purgatory.by suicide, it puts one in a Groundhog Day cycle of repeating the day of your attempt until the powers that be are satisfied you wont try anymore. unforutunately this has crystalized the great author's resolve and he basically spends all his purg time conceiving ever more inane suicidal acts in the hope that Satan will notice and rescue him

Is there some reason everything needs to be about you.  Just absolutely horrible.  Tragic that someone with such talent commits suicide and ... can't even describe what you're trying to do here.  Pathetic.

Was just reading him the other day because of wikkid posting him in another thread. It was the Kenyon speech, which I wouldn't have ever have gotten to hear an audio recording if he hadn't.  

Regardless, RIP to a great polymath of our time. It's a shame he's gone.
