Sharks, what do you think about this guy I keep starting guys like Carson Palmer and Derek Anderson but he keeps outshining them all plus he has a nice matchup this week against Oakland at home, If you look at his numbers he has been going off lately and his team is hot if you take out the games he would have missed due to injury he may be a top 8 QB in fantasy.

What do you all think about this kid for the playoffs this week and beyond??

not sure i'd call the oakland matchup "nice"...they've been pretty tough on passing games (see peyton last week), but can obviously be run on (though they shut down addai last week, too...overall, thopugh they've bene brutal against the run). i see taylor/MJD rumbling again but i'd personally temper expectations for garrard.

I've been starting him every week as a #2 QB and he's paid dividends with his consistency (we start 2 QBs).

My only complaint is why the Jags never run him on a sneak when they're inside the 1.

I've got Romo and his thumb or Garrard vs Oak.... no clue what I'm going to do.

Garrard is so tempting, i picked him up about 6 weeks ago and have yet to start him in an actual game, but this might be the week I start him. My other QB is Warner, and I've been starting him bc he has the easiest schedule in the world. I just don't want to lose my Super Bowl because Warner pulls his pvssy in the 1st quarter like we all know he will. I'd rather take a guaranteed 15 pts from Garrard than the upside of Warner (if there even is any upside).

I have been going between Kitna and Eli. But this week I think I'm going with Garrard over Kitna after his int's. and the fear that Detroit will feed KJ the ball this week.

The one thing Garrard has been this year is incredibly consistent. Taking out the game he left due to injury, last week was the first time he scored under 20 points in our scoring format and he finsihed with 19 point in about as adverse an environment as you can put a QB in. On the other hand he's not going to give you a huge scoring day either, having only cracked 30 points once.

After last week I'm definitely a beliver though. The guy is a stud, and only a handful of QBs should be started ahead of him at this point.

garrard just made some INCREDIBLY accurate, sharp, laser-fast throws through the snow/wind/rain last week. i was amazed. never thought he had that kind of arm.

Same here. I gotta say this: Romo better look good in practice before I start him over Garrard. I am playing the Brady owner this week, and no way can I afford another horrible game from my QB.

This one is easy. Garrard. Romo's accuracy was frighteningly bad last week. His thumb will still be very sore this week, which kills his accuracy. He, IMO, won't even play.

With the Packers chasing the Cowboys? No way does Romo sit. Maybe he has another mediocre game. But with that Philly loss, the Cowboys are in a must-win this week.
