Wilson's arrow is up again. He is a change of pace back this year with a ceiling of 8 touches a week. Why the ceiling even if Bradshaw is out? Simple. Eli is the franchise. No way Coughlin puts Wilson in position to protect the franchise player. Hth.

Bradshaw rushed for 200 damn yards. Even at 30 carries, that's still almost 7 YPC. Will he get 30 carries every week? No, of course not. But if Brown is healthy. many of those will go to him.

Wilson is a useful "2nd handcuff" (if either Brown or Bradshaw is hurt/unavailable, then Wilson is the handcuff) - and he may start to see more than 2 carries a game...like 3 or 4. But for now, he's a hold in dynasty and should be on the WW in all but the biggest/deepest benched redraft leagues.

Very underrated. In fact, I would not be surprised to see Brown overtake Bradshaw sometime this season. I believe their best combo would be to start Brown and make Bradshaw the 3rd down back. That said, I could see Bradshaw hanging on this season.

Now is the time to get Wilson in dynasty leagues. He could be as high as a consensus 1st round pick in the summer of 2014. I expect him to be their feature back by the end of next season if not sooner.

I'm convinced that even in redraft Wilson could be a very productive player down the stretch this year. Both Bradshaw and Brown seem to be constantly dealing with injuries and I would expect the Giants would want to be very protective of Bradshaw down the stretch of the season. I still believe Wilson will get his shot to start some games late in the season and could be a difference maker around fantasy playoff time for the very patient owners who didn't drop him.

If you saw his 40 yard TD, you'd realize it can be ignored. Offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride says the Giants are "trying to expand (David Wilson's) role as fast as we can ... but it's a process."

It's the second time in as many days we've heard a report about the Giants realizing they need to expand Wilson's role, but with Ahmad Bradshaw coming off a 200-yard game and the G-Men taking on San Francisco's fierce run defense on Sunday, the time may not be this weekend. However, if a frustrated owner cut Wilson loose earlier in the season, the time to take a flier is definitely now.

Well, if one out of every 2 carries is a 40 yard TD, that would work too.I guess we need to assume this for the 10 points last week to mean anything. Or are we looking at fantasy totals and not box scores. Or the game itself.

5-10 carries for a guy that looks like he could take it to the house on any attempt seems like he'd have value to me. Plus, he's bound to break one on kickoffs.

I don't see incentive for NYG to start Wilson, honestly. I own them both, and my ideal scenario would be for them to - he would be a 22 year old high end RB. That said, it is not unreasonable for the Giants to want to keep their homerun hitter fresh, healhty, and hitting homeruns. Why not let Bradshaw do some of the dirty work?That said, as a Wilson owner, I would be just fine with him being used the way KC used Charles/Jones.

I'm talking more about next year than this year, so Bradshaw will be 27 next year. But my point is I don't think age has much to do with things in this scenario; if Wilson proves to be a capable blocker and whatnot, I think he'll be the starter next year regardless of Bradshaw's age.

I don't see incentive for NYG to start Wilson, honestly. I own them both, and my ideal scenario would be for them to - he would be a 22 year old high end RB. That said, it is not unreasonable for the Giants to want to keep their homerun hitter fresh, healhty, and hitting homeruns. Why not let Bradshaw do some of the dirty work?That said, as a Wilson owner, I would be just fine with him being used the way KC used Charles/Jones.

These guys are in peak physical condition, they can stay "fresh" on more than 5-10 carries a game imo. And maybe it's just me, and Coughlin wouldn't agree with me, but I'm not a fan of the way Charles/Jones were used and how Spiller/Jackson are currently being used. I'm not saying Charles/Spiller should have been getting 90% of the carries, I just think a team's best back should be getting more rushing attempts than their 2nd best back, all things being equal. But again, I think Bradshaw should still be getting the lion share of the carries right now and probably for the rest of the season.

Super strong hold in dynasty leagues. I believe he is a future star player. He is in a great system that will yield big numbers once he is the top dog. Paitence is the key with this kid in dynasty.

I agree that he has a lot of potential upside, but the only problem is that Bradshaw is playing at a high level and is fairly young himself.Absent a long-term injury to Bradshaw, it seems like it could be 2014 at a minimum before Wilson gets more than a mere timeshare role.But I guess since we're talking dynasty, that's not out of the realm of expectation.

This will be like J. Charles and T. Jones in the beginning. Wilson will continue to get touches, he may only get 10 carries a game in the 2nd half of the season, but he might do some nice things w/ just 7-10 carries/game. He was trusted to kill the clock against a tough def that was going to go for the strip and he ran hard and did not have ball security issues. While that is a good sign, it does not mean that he has mastered picking up the blitz and keeping Eli upright. This will be RBBC late in the season. Wilson absolutely has value in redraft formats.

agreed . . . IF Wilson gets his pass blocking down - well, if Bradshaw is one of the best in the league (at that) and they are beiong productive, then there is no reason to change the formula (for now) if it is working.

Bradshaw is hot right now but he has had an injury prone past. I stashed Wilson in Redraft just because of Bradshaw's history. IF he goes down, this guy is a high RB2, low RB1 instantly. Obivously got to stop the fumbles which it looks like he has but he's super fast and the Giants want to run the ball.

I'll be surprised if there isn't a game or two this season where Wilson gets the majority of the carries, probably because of Bradshaw getting dinged up as usual, and then it's off to the races. And once Wilson learns the playbook and isn't a liability on passing downs, he should be realllllly good.

There's almost a zero chance we see much of Wilson unless Bradshaw goes down. It's ####### Bradshaw though. His handcuff, whoever it may be, is inherently worth more than majority of others in the league. It just so happens his current handcuff would also be a blatant RB1 in the event he went down. Wilson is the ultimate lottery ticket and one of a short list of premiere handcuffs.

Uh-oh. Bradshaw has a long history of foot issues, including offseason ankle surgeries after the 2010 and 2011 seasons and a broken bone in his right foot that cost him four games last year. It's fair to classify the situation as chronic and carrying the ball 57 times over the last two weeks appears to have aggravated the ailment. Coach Tom Coughlin said it's "the same type of thing" popping up again. Even though Bradshaw is expected to return to practice Thursday, we'd be selling here.

Why does everyone keep saying Charles/Jones. Wasn't it more like Charles/Larry Johnson (or better example, Holmes/Johnson)?

I guess none of that matters. The real point is, even as a guy that ended up trading him away, I think most people watching know that this is a case of when, not if, and the future should be pretty bright. My only reservation about Wilson is What if he is one of these guys that can do amazing things on limited carries but can't hold up under a full workload. Other than that, he obviously has worlds of things he can bring to the Giants.

It's hard to say, but I'd lean towards Brown. Wilson hasn't made any mistakes the last couple weeks and has looked good on his limited touches. Brown should know the system better. (Brown is rostered still in most of my leagues)
