***David Wilson Bandwagon*** (1 Viewer)

yes agreed... Let's keep this train rolling... 120 and 2 tds would be huge with 2 for 24 rec.... that would make fantasy owners super excited... 31 points with the 3 point bonus for 100 rushing... I need that to have any chance this week.
Who else do you have on your team brah?

Those of us that are big fans of yours NEED you to put your studly teams on your signature!!!!!

i cant wait for 100 pages tomorrow. its bound to happen with a good bad or even avg game at this rate...
 my thoughts exactly

The Giants will start David Diehl at right guard in Week 5 against the Eagles.
Diehl was active for Week 4, but only as a swing reserve. The Giants' front five will look like this versus Philadelphia: LT William Beatty, LG Kevin Boothe, C Jim Cordle, RG Diehl, and RT Justin Pugh. The Giants also anticipate "a larger role" for FB John Conner as they look to kickstart their running game.

ESPN reports:

Coughlin tells RB David Wilson: " We need to see you in the endzone". Boy I hope so. Got him back in for the first time since week 2.

I could REALLY use a big game from him... Big $$$ league, and taking him in the third, and some really bad luck has me at 1-3

w morris on bye, I need this young chap to show us why he has a thread this long (in a positive way)

go wilson!!!

Starting him this week with RRice over CJohnson and BPowell.

Would be happy with 80/1 & 3/25. As long as he scores, I'll take 30 yards rushing. But realistically think he runs for at least 70, with well over 100 yd upside this week.

The guy hasn't had a good game yet despite being handed the starting gig with no competition. If he doesn't light it up this week against a week Eagle's D, he just is not very good.

You really believe that is the entire picture is that simple, that black and white and that linear as explanation?

If 1 game makes that much of a difference, Timmy Smith would be considered one of the best running backs ever.

W2W4: Eagles at Giants

Excerpt:

It's got to be David Wilson time. It's just got to.

The Giants' handling of their running backs this season has made almost no sense -- as if the Andre Brown injury in the final week of the preseason left them at a complete loss and they had no backup plan. Wilson complicated things by fumbling twice in the opener, but enough already. This is a Giants season going nowhere, and the team needs to find out what it's got for the future. Wilson has the talent to be a building-block piece, but if they don't loosen the reins he's not going to develop the way he needs to -- especially in terms of confidence. With Da'Rel Scott off the roster and Brandon Jacobs showing very little, the Giants should let Wilson be the feature back they drafted him to be. And if he can't handle it, then at least they'll know that in time for next offseason.
This is true. As a owner of him in dynasty this is what I want to know. Is he a guy I have to match up play this season because he will be the guy but he needs another year to grow into the role more like a Spiller, or Charles, plus the Giants suck. Or is time to get what I can for him and free up a roster spot instead of holding onto him for another 2 years hoping he turns into the next Thomas Jones, but is more likely to even up like Mark Ingram.
Wilson definitely isn't Ingram...

Dynasty (strangle)hold... Unless you can get something pretty good in return...

wilson still one of youngest RBs in league, even as second year player...

few unestablished RBs have his combo of talent, pedigree, opportunity and upside...

Hey guys, we get it. If Wilson blows up, there will be more pages in this thread. Just like there will be more pages if you keep posting about your prediction of more pages.

:deadhorse:

Awful lot of excitement for a player who is 5 for 11 with no score if you throw out his best run.
I hope you're kidding. Go troll somewhere else. It's the beginning of the 2nd quarter and he may be the highest points for a RB so far today...
I'm not trolling, I think really think that there is a lot of excitement for a guy who is 5 for 11 and a 5 yard td. The desperation really shows when a 5 yard TD brings such a reaction.

In other words, 6 for 16 and a TD. Which is fine this early in the game. Stop twisting the numbers. As if a ####ing 5 yard run is an anomaly.
