According to my MFL.com news update service, Dawkins will be used as a nickle LB in "the box" on passing downs:

I would figure that this would only help his tackle numbers, though it may cost him some INT's. What say you?
 
This will help the Eagles pass coverage a lot. I think it will actually help his numbers, because he should pick up more tackles than he'll get INT's or PD's, although note the prior news about the Eagles' scorers awarding PD's at will.

 
Come to think of it, he'll probably have a couple more sacks this year on blitzes in these situations, don't you think?

 
I'm not sure, I'd almost think Jim Johnson might make people think he's gonna blitz, and bring it from somewhere else. Really a hard scheme to know what's coming, especially considering they don't use a ton of 3-4/4-3 look changes like others do.
