All DD owners caught a huge break as soon as RBush was NOT drafted. But there are still some questions:

*his knee

*his oline

*his qb

I do like Kubiak and could make him into a Denver-ish stud in the next couple years.

What are general thoughts on DD? Can he handle an entire year? Will he be replaced soon?

I think he'll be a nice steal for some in drafts this year. The Texans passing on Bush was a huge boon for him...

Not true. In 2005, he was RB5 (he missed 1 game too) in FBGs scoring which is not PPR. Last year he was 17th and he only played 11 games. His rookie year in which he started only 10 games and played a lot in 12 games, he was still 14th.I went through this in another thread and in FBGs scoring, he has been hovering right about RB5 to RB7 for all 3 years when you look at his points per game scoring.

If DD plays 16 games this year, he is going to be a steal and will be a lock for top 10 and probably closer to top 5. I think last year gave him more of an injury prone label, when I think the Texans shut him down because he was the only good thing they had going on offense for the first 11 games.

The way I see it this is a make or break year for DD. If he misses time this year the Houston Faithful are going to boo him pretty badly and force the FO to look RB early next year in the draft. If he plays 16 games and the Line can keep the heat off of Carr then this offense could explode. If he doesn't perform for whatever reason the Texans will have a high draft pick for a RB in the years to come....

Morency?Seriously though, as good news as it is for Davis that Houston passed on Bush, it's equally good news for Morency. He looked pretty good getting playing time at the end of last year.
