I hate to be making a thread like this. But after 6 months of lies and now 1 month of silence (meaning he no longer responds to e-mails or even pretends to be trying to pay up) I have to come out with the truth. I doubt I will be getting any money back at this point; but it appears this guy is not a low profile person and I don't want anybody else to get scammed. Hopefully this can stay in the Shark Pool for everyone to see.
The long story short is that I joined a league 1 year ago where Zac Erwin (http://twitter.com/#!/ZacErwin) was the commish. The league was named "House Football #3" and can be found here (although I think he made it private, obviously). http://www26.myfantasyleague.com/2011/home/12289#0
It was a smallish buyin league, $50; unfortunately there was no leaguesafe. You know how the story ends. The league finishes, payouts are never made. I later found out he also created a league House IV and did not payout there either.
There are 5 "House" leagues in all; however as it turns out, another person named Jeremy is the commish and money handler of House 1, 2, and 5. He knows Zach personally but has claimed that he has nothing to do with House 3 or 4 and just let him manage those leagues separately. He made it sound like he would try to help us recover the money has also "gone dark" for the last several weeks and clearly doesn't care. House 1/2/5 have all paid out the winnings and there does not appear to be any problems there.
I sincerely hope these people are not ever trusted with anyone elses money and I found it despicable and pathetic that he was allowed to rip everybody off.

I think that if not a whole forum, at least a stickied thread (yes, even if in the Looking for Leagues forum) would be of great service to the FBG community.
