Deadpool crushing the Box Office (1 Viewer)

She got her TV start in Joss Whedon's Firefly 15 years ago

She has aged amazing well.
Didn't even notice Inara was in it. She was a smokeshow 13 years ago and still looks it.

She was also in the short-lived alien TV show V. She was the hot lead alien.

I think that was a budget thing more than anything else. I also don't know if they've cast the human Colossus yet.
Yeah I didn't think about the casting bit. Like I said minor nit to pick. The CGI was pretty good.

Hey I was thinking about watching Firefly, but I'm concerned I'll be left feeling [Teddy KGB] unsatisfied [/Teddy KGB] due to it's untimely cancellation.  Is there a movie that ties some of the loose ends?

See 2 and 3 posts up.

Serenity

That's hot.  I hope you guys boned after the movie.. hard.    Man, if I saw a girl reading a deadpool comic and she was at least an offdee 5.9 I'd probably get hard just from that.

The movie theater i was at on the day i saw it was nothing but dudes at "buddy movie" together,  a few old couples who clearly just go see every movie and seemed way too old for the genre, and some barely legal teens
Go on.

Love the new boards lol...

That's amazing they passed X-Men considering the budgets of those movies, the fact they have wolverine and Jennifer Lawrence, they are pg13, and they open in May usually.
I saw it last night and its primarily a comedy not a superhero movie.

I know my wife only wants to see it because of Ryan Reynolds, but she is trying to feign interest in the storyline in getting me to take her.

meh. it was amusing enough but sweet jesus it needed a different cinematographer. it's like he didn't know how to shoot a fight scene, direct an action sequence or create a set piece. Ryan Reynolds is a spiritual cousin to Bruce Willis, i think.

I thought all those things were different and great.

I think this sets you up very nicely for an after the show romp as there is plenty of Reynolds assets on view for your wife to stock up on her spank bank.  Play it right and you may need medical attention from all the thrills later that evening .

Happy International Women's Day!

Finally saw this damn movie, and loved it.  Sure it was funny, but actually liked the dark places it went just as much.

Finally saw this. That was pretty great. One of the best comedies I have seen in awhile. Ryan Reynolds was made to play that role.

If that oxygen deprivation tank brought out his mutation or whatever because the body responds to extreme pain settings, why don't they just start everyone with the tank? That seems the ultimate form of torture to the body. Just throw them in and if they click, great. If not, dump 'em and move on. They should probably hire a consultant or get a better management team. That level of inefficiency seems needlessly expensive to the organization.

This movie was great.  I need to watch it again, it was kinda like a Family Guy episode in that I'm certain I missed a few references/jokes, especially with all the quick dialogue.  But it was really, really well done.  Great character, nice add to the superhero universe.  I

Saw it again now that it's on Blu-Ray and it's just as fun and funny as the first time. In fact, I think my opinion on it improved a fair bit on a second watch.

Not to be a Debbie Downer but it was just Meh for me.  I hate Dane Cook, and I felt like I was watching Dane Cook in a red suit.  Brody's wife was hot at least.

Holy crap what a fun movie, and I don't even like superhero stuff most of the time.  Definitely the first 4K blu-ray I'll buy.

It was soo f'ing hilarious.
Yeah it was great, totally unexpected too. Was a nice light start since Logan was such a heavy movie.
