• It appears that running back DeAngelo Williams, who suffered a sprained right ankle on his only carry in the Panthers' 20-12 win over Cleveland on Oct. 8, will miss about one month because of the injury.

Sources said that Coach John Fox let that slip in a meeting where he was discussing his team with a Fox Sports television crew before Sunday's 23-21 win in Baltimore. ........

Chris Draft said it may be longer than that.

my biggest mistake of the year. I reached for williams in my keeper league draft thinking he'd be a great RB 3/flex player down the stretch and the top rookie keeper for next year. Bad mistake on my part.

I saw it in Wheelhouse's hometown thread....Was Gary Keck still coaching the baseball team when you were there?

no, never heard of coach Keck. I played freshman ball my first year, but i forget who the coach was (i know it wasnt keck) Coach Hewitt came over from Bridgewater starting soph year (2000 season) He's still the coach. They won the county and NJ group 4 state title 2 years ago.

I played hoops for 4 years, lost in county finals my senior year.

Coach Keck was from Bridgewater, too. No wonder they call you guys the Raiders...

Is the consensus that Deangelo will be the opening day starter going into 2007? That's what i thought when i selected Deangelo high in my initial dynasty draft, but i'm beggining to have doubts

No, it's not. Foster signed a fairly cheap 3 year deal this year so the Panthers don't have any incentive to trade him. The best case scenarios for DeW owners (besides injury) is if Foster does well enough to get traded, though I don't see teams being willing to get up much for him.
