Decision Confirmed: University of South Florida (1 Viewer)

I hope Eminence succeeds for the same reason I root for President Trump. Solely for Timothy Schadenfreude.

Great news, I went on a 4-0 ripper gambling and made some money winning at fantasy football. I'm sitting on a small surplus with my tax return money expected within the first week of February. I'm hoping for a $3,000+ return.

I'm going to pay my father back for my car and then gear up for the big journey.

Gonna be a great year dudes.
Are you enrolled? How many classes are you taking? Do you have housing lined up? What about a job? Or are you just packing all your stuff into a car and driving to Florida with no real gameplan other than hitting the beach and hoping you nail some hot drunk chicks?

Unimportant details IMO

If you're gambling to get by you're not going to get very far.

It's not gambling when you bet like the sharps do!

This all depends on the status of my unemployment application. Obviously, I wasn't expecting to get fired and that put some strain on my financial situation. But if I get approved for unemployment benefits (or win on appeal) I plan to enroll ASAP. Otherwise, I'll have to find a new job and grind for a few months before adding school to my weekly agenda.

I've got somewhere I can stay for free in Florida. Getting there is my immediate goal so I can start establishing residency for out of state tuition purposes. I am working at Walgreens and they've agreed to a bridge of service, which legally means they acknowledge that I've worked there 3 years. I can snap my fingers and get transferred to a Walgreens in Florida, probably slide back into a shift lead role if I really wanted.

In the short term, yes. I plan on driving down to Florida, enjoying Spring Break, enjoying Summer Break, and party steady.

I feel pretty good though. I have my Associates Degree now and a quick job search on Indeed in St Petersburg turned up a lot of work.

I am sure the bank you threatened to sue is going to give you a great reference. What the #### were you thinking?

Don't let the naysayers get you down. Florida is pretty cheap. $3,000 should last you at least six months and it's pretty warm in that state so even if you have to sleep in your car it won't get that bad. At least you're working hard to making a better life for yourself. Keep up the work.

So I'm pretty spooked about this move. I applied to all the 5th 3rd banks in a 30 minute radius from the University. Might not take a full schedule at school my first semester.
You can scratch that off the list. For those that missed it, Em just got canned from his bank job. From the wagering thread:

I think I just got fired. I'm suspended with pay. I better start nailing these picks...
Whatcha do? or didn't do?
I got pissed about a few overdraft fees and started cursing at members of employee banking over the phone. I then threatened bank fraud unless the fees were reversed. Can I collect unemployment for this?
your fees or a customer's fees?...
My fees.
The schtick has hit the fan
"Dad get me out of this"

You just need to know how to work the system. With the social skills our young hero possesses, he could probably make it last at least 9 months. Add in future earnings once the DFS for baseball starts, and he'll be fine.

Makes sense. There's guys on the beach that hustle chess games for money. Based on Em's skills in the tourney we're playing, he could probably survive that way as well.

It takes at least a few months to evict someone down here. That's like 11 months! If he times it right he can make it right up until next Christmas break.

The part outside Disney World.

So when you get to South Florida are you going to pronounce your belief that the world needs to be ruled by a white man with an iron fist?

'Cuz that should be interesting. And also might result in a real good fisting.

Remember when Em was a real person and not this alias that gets passed around? Man that was some good stuff.

I met my wife at USF, I remember Fontana Hall, they were running short on staff and made me an RA, that was a mistake if there ever was one. We were supposed to report any suspicious activity but usually I was the one who instigated the suspicious activity.

Please tell me Spider Man is schtick, I have this terrible feeling this is not a joke.

You don't like Spider-Man? Everyone loves Spider-Man. There was this gorgeous red haired chick who was super into Spider-Man back when I went to Olivet Nazerene University.

Rich family, too. Shouldn't have dropped out the first time for a different red head. Damn red heads...
