Decision Confirmed: University of South Florida (1 Viewer)

I've had an epiphany.
No you didn't. You have learned nothing. You are already talking about maxing out your credit cards to be a real estate mogul after buying a teardown house you hope to live in while you continue to gamble daily on sporting events and somehow sell at a later date without a loss. You are completely clueless about what you are getting into.

If this is your game plan, fine, but ultimately you will end up a loser - but we won't get to laugh at you because like MOP you will disappear once your house-of-cards collapses and you don't want to face all those who gave you good advice that you once again completely ignored because you thought you knew better.

In the meantime, keep posting, as I enjoy watching a train wreck.

Honestly kid, you need to completely rethink everything. Debt is the devil. I know this firsthand, unfortunately.

If I were you I'd move back in with your parents (it's not like you get laid anyways) and work your butt off for 2-3 years. I'm talking overtime if you can manage it, heck even add a 2nd/night job. Deliver pizza or chicken wings if you must. I did.

Stop wasting money at bars.

You need to completely eliminate your existing debt and have a nice bit of savings before you do anything else.

Otherwise you're just going to spin out of control and you'll be filing for bankruptcy within 5 years. Going to party at some random school is only going to make things worse.

I can't imagine this is some alias/schtick. If it is, it has to be the internet's biggest fishing trip.

Get your ish together, jack.
The loser still lives with his parents. He can't support himself no matter what, mommy and daddy will need to continue to keep him afloat. Pathetic.

I wish I had the combined wisdom of the FFA to ask questions when I was Em's age. I'm sure many of us feel the same way. I don't believe I would have ignored so much good advice. I know I could have used some guidance at that age. But from Day 1, Eminence knew better.

How old do you think Em is? 16?

I think he's like 22 although it reads like a 16 year old.

Don't let these uber dorks deter you em. Most of them spend their lives posting in political threads and getting iangry about Hillary Clinton

You're about the enter the best years of your life. Live it up and worry about money later in your 30s.

....and he has been on here since 2008? Doesn't add up or lamest life ever for a guy that age.

Kind of. Just try not to make monstrously bad choices.

He's like Benjamin Button.

I wonder why do many of you uber-geeks in this forum always assume someone is in "reality" (yours, not mine) another of your uber-geek posters performing some sort of alias shtick? Why is it that you think the entire cyber world consists of a handful of your FFA friends or rivals? Weird egos at work!

Clearly an Em alias.

makes perfect sense.

I stand by my decision to attend the USF: St. Petersburg. Let's be realistic here, fellas.

I'll be turning 24 in November and will graduate when I'm 26. I'm no Spring chicken. At this point, I'm not sure how much I'd enjoy a 'true' college experience.

I am gearing up to get married and hopefully have kids once I finish this degree. With that in mind, I anticipate my friend group in St. Petersburg will be 50% from school and 50% from clubbing.

From what I've seen, the area looks beautiful and living is cheap. If I avoid the south side I should be golden.

You aren't going to meet friends at school, or in clubs.

Don't listen to him. The next time you are in a club, walk up to a couple of the dudes there and say (you may have to yell because of the noise):

"Hello there! My name is Eminence, and I'm a racist, but that's OK because you guys are white. I'm 24 and I like to finger blast people. Can I be your friend?"

Sure to work,

Forgot to add, "oh and if you wont be my friend I may just kill myself".

I don't know where to begin...

1) How many chicks have you been with? BC above = the end of random

2) see 1

3) see 2

4) Who gets married around 26 when they aren't even in a relationship at 24, is that your goal? And kids around 27???? Are you ####### insane?

My wife and I make an extraordinarily comfortable living, and we decided not to live in St. Pete because it's so expensive. It is so far away from cheap that I cannot believe anybody who looked at the situation for longer than 30 seconds could even suggest that.

Good luck.

With a boatload of debt on top of it all

No kidding. It's hard to decipher what is schtick with Em, but he is delusional if he thinks he can own anything for 40-50k.If he truly isn't looking for the "college experience", which he shouldn't be at 24 anyways, it might not be a bad decision to come to the area.

Cost of living is low, and a large metro area will have more job offerings than a small college town.

I would still advise to stay home & acquire as little debt as possible.

But from what Em has seen, the living is cheap!

I don't think this means the same thing to everyone else on this board as it does to you.

I am pretty sure his crack house will seal the deal.

Being the expert financial wiz that Em is, he saw that a good crack house could be had for $30K and that was all the information he needed to evaluate the situation.

Maybe you haven't seen some recent updates...he's now earning an extra quarter an hour.

Do you know what the interest on that fifty dollars comes to

Over fifty-three years?

Six hundred and sixty-three dollars and forty-five cents. And

that's figuring conservatively at five percent interest, over fifty-three

years, compounded quarterly. Or, if you put it into a ten-year T-bill..

At the 1:52 mark

I don't think Em is all shtick but he does have a nice thing going. He posts once then sits back and gets 50 replies. Then he revels in the fact that dozens of people he doesn't know are all talking about him. Then he waits 2-3 days and posts again and gets another 50 replies. He's got down to a science.

:lmao:

I love how, within a few pages, Em has gone from gearing up to host raging college house parties while fingerblasting barely legal chicks to gearing up to get married and have kids. He's maturing so quick!

Em, let's focus on getting a girlfriend and losing your virginity before you go around making marriage/procreation plans.

Talk about putting the cart before the horse.
