Moore and Decker were drafted in our 12-team league, and we were able to pick up Nelson last week for 0.5% of budget. I'm sure they are all going for much more this week. -Byron'ArbyMelt said:what % of blind bidding is these guys going for? anyone have waivers yet?
Lloyd was why I chose Moore over him. Orton has a tendency to zero in on one guy, and he loves throwing to Lloyd. Not to say Decker will disappear, but I'm not sure the same is going to happen in Oakland. I honestly have not watched Nelson or the Bills so I know little about why he has done well, and therefore I can't pick him up over the other two.I am surprised to see Decker falling so far behind...is that because of Lloyd's return down the road, Orton at QB or some combination of both
FYI - "down the road" might mean this week. Lloyd returned to Broncos practice today.I am surprised to see Decker falling so far behind...is that because of Lloyd's return down the road, Orton at QB or some combination of both
David im sure..Jordy Nelson or David Nelson?
Obviously he won't be in game shape to start, but Thomas may eat into some touches later in the year if he's healthy...DEMARYIUS THOMASPublished Wed Sep 21 9:25:04 p.m. ET 2011(RotoWire) Thomas (finger) could return after the Broncos' Week 6 bye week, the Denver Post reports.Analysis: The perpetually dinged-up Thomas could make an impact later this season with a break or two, but now it's established that he's a few weeks away.
Amazing.'jantoniosus said:guess I am lucky in our league there are no waivers except for players dropped. I picked up Moore, D. Nelson, and N. Washington all this last monday morning.
Redraft no PPR I would stick with Bowe for now.......For a redraft league with no PPR would you take any of these over Bowe?
keep Bowe. I'm struggling with whether to drop Evans or Ward for either Nelson or Moore. Have Decker already and need some WR upside. For a redraft league with no PPR would you take any of these over Bowe?
If you need to ask, it's too rich for you.'GreenNGold said:Jordy Nelson or David Nelson?
I cut bait on Hines Ward today in favor of Nelson since I had the top waiver claim. At least in a dynasty league setting Hines is toast IMO.keep Bowe. Actually Nelson is not the starter in Buffalo. Donald Jones starts opposite of Stevie Johnson but considering Neslon's breakout last week and Parrish's season ending injury, I wouldn't be surprised if they moved Nelson to starter and put Jones in the spot Parrish was playing.'Ping Pong said:I think it's close between Decker and Nelson, although Nelson is still criminally unnoticed in a lot of leagues. Both look set to be WR2s in good offenses. I think Decker has the better skill set, but Nelson is probably more entrenched as a target. Stevie Johnson also looks like he's a little banged up, and my guess is he's going to keep playing hurt until he gets an extension, at which point he might take it easy, which might open the door for more Nelson. However, even if Stevie goes out, I'm not entirely sure that Nelson's value goes up drastically. Decker, on the other hand, has the talent and ability to take over as a WR1 if Lloyd stays banged up or gets reinjured. I absolutely love Moore's talent, but his surrounding situation isn't as good. His QB is the worst of the 3, where he sits on the depth chart isn't as clear, and he's a rookie. If you're swinging for the fences though, I think Moore is the pick because he has the clearest path to WR1 on his own team.
David Nelson has the highest percentage of starts out of the slot in the NFL so I don't see them moving him to the outside anytime soon and while Donald Jones does see more snaps in the offense he still barely gets any targets. I'm pretty sure Jones is on the outside because he is the fastest out of the three and they use him to stretch the defense but since Fitz doesn't have the greatest arm strength Johnson and Nelson benefit the most. Nelson is essentially a top level TE who could get around 700-1000yds w/ 6-10TDs. In his last 6 games he has 4 TDs and very nearly had 5 this past week.Actually Nelson is not the starter in Buffalo.
