has been signed by the depth challenged Seahawks. McMullen was playing well for the Redskins in preseason and has shown flashed of talent in the past with the Eagles. Had the Skins not spent 2 second round picks on WRs, they would likely have kept him. If you've got a practice squad or an open roster spot, you could do worse then taking a shot on McMullen. After all, someone has to catch passes in Seattle.

I agree. In addition, coming from the Redskins and Zorn, he should already know the Seattle offense.

He had numerous times to step up in Philly and never did...Greg Lewis beat him out for christs sake. He has the size, but doesn't have enough of anything else to do anything

Not only then, but he wasn't good enough to make Minnesota's keep him, and wasn't good enough to beat out James Thrash in Washington. This is a bottom of the barrel move by Seattle.
