Defense scoring anomaly? (1 Viewer)

We switched Commish this year and Yahoo defaults were accepted for most scoring options. Nothing we can do this year. The return TD points - 6 go to the player. The return yards go to the defense. In our league SEA is the #1 D through 3 weeks. Leon Washington 2 TD and 297 return yards. Last year yards went to the player at 1 per 25. Is this odd scoring or more common? Thanks in advance for your comments

Both my leagues double dip, with yards AND TDs going to the individual and DST.

One has 20 yards=1 point (heavy return yards), one has yahoo default 40 yards=1 point.
