I am playing in a CBS Sportsline league this year. D/ST owners are getting screwed when the offense of their D/ST allows touchdowns. It makes no sense to me. I have played almost exclusively at Yahoo! in my fantasy football career. Yahoo! handles this matter more sensibly.
Example- one matchup in Week 5 ended 113-113. One of the teams had the Saints defense/special teams. All 30 of the points the Saints allowed were charged against the one team. The problem is that the Saints defense/special teams only allowed 16 points. The Saints offense allowed 14. If CBS Sportsline only charged the Saints D/ST with 16 points allowed, then it would break the tie and the one team would win 117-113.
I have the Steelers D/ST. It is as if I own all the individual Steelers defensive players and special teamers. I do not own Ben Roethlisberger. If Roethlisberger throws a pick six on Sunday, my team should not be penalized for that. Do you understand what I mean?
Now, if I am missing something here, please let me know. I just do not understand this at all.
