Fellow Branch owners, what are you doing with him this week? Does everybody think (as I do) that he'll be sporadic for the rest of the year due to Seattles propensity to spread the ball around? Plus, when SA comes back...

I think Branch is easily worth 70 yds and a TD most every game. A very good WR2 no matter who is in or out for Seattle. There's a good reason Brady was despondent at him leaving.

I own him in 2 dynasty leagues and I'm going to keep him. I beleive he will be a solid WR3 the rest of this season and next year I expect a good year from him. I'm not sure what D Jax contract status is or how his knee will hold up for the rest of this season and next.

What do you think the impact on his #s will be when SA comes back?

I was hoping for different answers, honestly...I was offered Smith/Cotchery for Branch/Berrian and am really struggling with the decision.

I think Seattles's O is good enough to get everyone good numbers, liek a few years back when they had K Rob and D Jax they all performed well IMO. Which Smith were you offered?

Hit the accept button right away and pretend this conversation never happened.

:lmao: As I typed my previous post I realized how stupid I was being...and did just that. Earlier today, the same guy traded my BALT DEF for Cotchery. :banned: The question still stands though, is Branch a sell high now that he supposesedly "got it" last week?

I think if you can get one of the Elite wr's then yes if not it won't to keep him IMHO.

If I was smart enough to grab Branch and patient enough to keep him to this point, I would not trade him and enjoy some good production the rest of the season.

I'm going to hold him unless I can package him in an upgrade deal to an elite WR. Trade I offered this week was Dunn-Branch for Harrison-Addai. (Guy has 0 at RB but good WRs). He thought seriously but declined.

That's about what I'd be looking to get for him in a package deal. I think he will be excellent WR3 and might eventually blossom into WR2. In fact, for patient owners, he could eventually take the WR2 spot occupied in the early season by potentially fading upstart WRs like Colston, Jennings, Berrian.

I have Colston as WR2, wouldn't surprise me to see Branch start putting up better #s.

I think you can only very encouraged by Branch's debut as a starter. What is most positive is that he was used in the red zone, which is not where he excelled in NE.

Take a look at the numbers Bobby Engram put up as the #2 last year. No disrespect to Bobby, but Deion is twice the talent. Hold Branch, his perceived value still hasnt caught up to his real value, as some people might think last week was a fluke.

I've got Branch as a #3 behind Holt and Roy Williams and I can't see a scenario where I would consider moving him right now. Good matchups the next few weeks, he covers byes and since we can start a 1-3, he'll be a better play some weeks than my RBs w/ spotty matchups.

When you say sell high, I don't think 7-75-2 is necessarily all that high. If he blows up for some 12-catch game the next few weeks - that's high.

Bottom line, hold tight unless something insane comes across (ie Steve Smith).

Branch has all the makings of a stud. He was underutilitzed in New England because they spread it around so much. Now he's in Seattle, with good receivers around him, and a running game that is not as good as last year, plus, an easy schedule. I think Branch could put up 75 and a TD regularly.

seattle spreads it around just as much as NE...

I traded for Deion Branch today, gave up LJ Smith. I'm excited about ..

His schedule.. plus his cost of justifying a #1...

plus his reliable hands ...

plus the competence of Darrell Jackson...

plus the lack of TE prodcution..

plus the sputtering running game...

make him a high #2.

This weekend's game will be telling as the Vikings have only given up 3 passing TDs.

I'll be starting Reggie Williams versus Houston over Branch this week, but I'll be hoping for a solid performance from Branch on my bench so he can be my regular WR3 going forward (behind TO and TJ Houz).

I really like Branch's upside. He is just learning the system and already seems to be making an impact. They did not pay all that for him and not use him. I just traded for him in a keeper league giving up Marques Colston.

I just dealt him with FWP for McNabb.

12 team Auction league (Start 2/3) and I am deep at RB and WR, but needed help at QB.

Brunell, BJohnson, Frye

LJ, FWP, Dunn, JJones, MDrew, MBarber

RoyWilliams, Driver, Burress, Glenn, Branch

Very good analysis... and keep in mind the stats that KRob posted a few years back with the exact same offensive crew (Hutchinson added)...Sigmund, would you target him in a [DYNASTY] league if you had to offer Greg Jennings?... Branch is relatively young at 26 (even though Jennings is obvisouly younger) and enters a system that values WRs alot more than in NE... the WR1 on his new team is a walking injury (no pun intended)... and Jennings might be catching balls from Aaron Rodgers soon - do you see that as a big downfall for him?...TIA!

Always thought that people who think one-week wonders from established players = a sell high opp.

It is :loco: to think he won't have good games over the next few weeks since it finally seemed to click between him and Hass last week.

If CJohn suddenly has a 150/2TD days, is he a sell high player?

I dealt Branch and Berrian for S. Smith and Cotchery, and I think I got a great upgrade (other WRs are Harrison, R Smith, and R. Moss)...I got a #1 for a high #2, and Branch would have been played along with R. Smith based on matchups...now Ill just play R. Smith. I also believe that Branch's looks will decrease as the team gets healthy...and I wanted to move him before that happened so that Id be set for a playoff run.

Completely disagree that Branch's looks will change any - why would they?

If anything, they will go up.

That said, I don't think you "sold high." You should certainly turn yourself into the desk seargant necause you have committed robbery.

SS is in for a huge second half.
