Delanie Walker for Austin Hooper and Alex Smith? (1 Viewer)

Fist off, I'm in a start 2 QB and 2 TE league so all starting QBs have big value.  My QBs right now are Dalton, Rivers, Glennon, Smith and McCown.  My TE's are Jimmy Graham and Austin Hooper.  Should I make this trade?

I get Delanie Walker

I give Austin Hooper and Alex Smith

It hurts my QB depth but upgrades my starters.  Is the upgrade from Hooper to Walker worth it?

It's a pretty inconsequential trade if you ask me.  You have more than enough QB depth to lose Smith.  Walker is an upgrade over Hooper though not a huge upgrade.

You might as well make the trade.

In a start 2QB league, QBs are very valuable.  You have 5 starting QBs.....but you may lose some during the year since Glennon and McCown could get benched.  So you may need Smith more than you think.  Personally, I would reject the trade.....to give up a starting QB, I want an upgrade better than Walker, who IMO isn't that much of an upgrade over Hooper, who I have high hopes for.

Thanks.  Your logic is exactly what I've been thinking.  I might counter with Glennon instead of Smith.  .
