Young Favre fired too many bullets to his receivers and the pics of their hands are legendary. If I read that right, Thomas kept practicing but they had him miss Friday.

This. Many who have Thomas weren't expecting/hoping for much before at least the half-way point in the season (or the soonest, after the Broncos week 6 bye). His finger should be well healed by the time he would be anywhere near startable anyway. Really, not much to see here.
