FBG has been telling us for weeks that this guy is basically a project - raw talent that we shouldn't expect to produce anytime soon. Anyone have any perspective on today's game. EIGHT catches for 97 and a TD looks like more than a fluke. Is he further along than we thought?
Yes. He looked legit. Overpowering corners on short routes. Going over the middle for tough catches. Looked manly out there. That said, he has tough matchups in 3 of the next 4 games (Indy, @ Tenn, @ Bal, NYJ).

He looked like the missing piece to the passing game. When/if D's start rolling coverage to him, that will open things up even more for Royal/Gaffney/Moreno. I don't know if Demaryius will be able to contribute at a high level when that happens, but as a Bronco fan, I'm ok with that.
I think Denver had success passing today b/c Sea committed to stuffing the run, leaving the wide-outs in single coverage quite a bit. Demaryius showed today that defenses will have to have a safety deep.

Completely agree. He's the big field stretcher the offense needs to open up the underneath routes. Seemed he was only in for a handful of plays, but he had a big impact. He's huge and he's got deep speed that Marshall never had. He's a legit #1 for the Broncos if he stays healthy imo.
