Democrats for Trump (1 Viewer)

Been hearing more and more about this. Most likely just pre-election talk and I think this happens with a lot of presumptive candidates IIRC.

A coalition across both parties - Isn't this the type of thing people are always wanting, complaining doesn't happen?

Shouldn't "both sides" be on board with this?

Just another example of Trump being a Uniter?

The article appears to be about 2% of the electorate in certain battleground states that voted for Trump in 2016, voted for Democrats in 2018, and plan to vote for Trump again in 2020. Not sure that this is really an article about a coalition across both parties.

I’ve been hearing about it too.  At least 10 people in the last few mins.  Tons of “talk” very recently.

*100% of the above from this thread.

You know, you're not required by law to respond to every single post with a "BUT THE OTHER SIDE!" equivalent.
Why?  You guys do it all day 24/7 in here.

Is this yet ANOTHER "what's good for me is not good for thee" type situations we catch you guys in constantly?

I disagree.  There is something going on here.

You'll look back on this thread come November and realize I was on to something.

You were upset that someone created a thread about Trump, so you decided to troll by copying the thread, word for word.

It was so poorly done that your link had nothing to do with the thread title.

Sorry, I wasn't trolling.

I know that's the go to excuse when you don't like a post - just call the other guy a troll - but I was really seeing a lot of this everywhere.

Also, YOU - of all people - are the last one to be calling someone a troll.  Be better, please.

You copied the other post, word for word. Then you included a link to a 6-month-old story that had nothing to do with your thread title. (Because, presumably, you were unable to find a current link which actually matched your hastily-assembled plagiarism.)

  • Plagiarize someone else's post?
  • Make blanket accusation?
  • Tell others to be better?
  • Yep, that's our BladeRunner.

Sorry you feel that way - but The General just beat me to it, I guess.

Great minds think alike.  Remember that next time you flippantly want to call someone a troll because you don't like opposing thought.

Perhaps the thread that this was copied from should have been titled “elected Republicans for Biden”.

Do we have examples of these?

Biden during an interview with a Progressive was talking about working with past Republicans, Trump tweets “Obamagate”.

It’s his strategy.

Democrats voting for Trump.

It's a hard truth, I know.  But a truth none-the-less.  Scooter doesn't like that.
Ultimately the voters is what counts. But how we get them to vote is the real issue.

The thread you copied was talking about elected politicians from the opposing party rallying for the nom from the other party.

Isn’t this what we are always asking of these people?

I’m talking about the article you linked. It’s about Trump voters in battleground states who voted for Trump in 2016, voted Democrat in 2018, and plan to vote for Trump again in 2020. You may very well be onto something. But the article appears to be about something much more limited and specific.

I'm a registered Democrat who refused to vote Hillary.  I would have considered Buttigieg or Klobachar, but not Biden.

I'm neither party and have taken polls and stuff that has me square in the middle.  Didn't vote Hillary but won't be voting Trump

Is this similar to the “Walk Away” and “Blexit” movements that happened right before Democrats picked up 40 seats in the House?
