Google says he ran a 10.44 100m in HS. So if he trained for the 100m in college, he'd probably be in the ultra elite speed category like Michael Bennett and Tim Dwight. Chris Johnson ran a 10.5 100m and we know how fast he is.He has ran track for Michigan and probably is a legitimate candidate to run 4.3.Anyone know what his 40 time might be at? I hbe no idea how fast he is, but I'd think that'll be a bigger draft day bump for him than his weight. If he has elite speed to go with all that talent then he'll be just fine - someone will take a chance on him and give him a shot to show something.
True, Dexter tan a 4.4 on his pro day. I still think Denard could beat that. Rich Rod and the UM staff said he is the fastest guy they have ever seen.play fooball. It could be hyperbole, but Denard can fly.mccluster's 40 time was likely flukey.
Why do you think that? They don't remind me of each other at all. I see a lot more Jahvid Best or Reggie Bush than Forte. His upside is a Matt Forte type RB if he can catch.

RTSports has him at RB. He is worth a spot on a deep bench or in dynasty. His designation is a WR in Yahoo right now and I'm wondering if that's going to change. Is he WR in other places too?
Seems to be in the committee now so his role could expand and worth an end of the bench spot.
Thanks for this. So it seems that his position could/should change relatively soon if he were to log the same amount of carries going forward. It's like Jimmy Graham's "TE" designation by the league, but yet him wanting to be paid as a WR. Same case, he plays the majority of his snaps at RB, but is only WR in my leagues on Yahoo. Hopefully that changes soon, but nothing I can do about that.Interesting discussion here on reddit about his designation and why it may not change...

Yahoo is free.... thats what you get when you deal with free leagues. He's been an RB all preseason. Thanks for this. In my view, one of Robinson/Johnson is the guy to own. I loved Storm coming out of college and can't wait for him to be healthy and show me something, but I just have a sneaky feeling about Denard getting valuable carries/catches weekly. That's the RBBC, not Gerhart/Robinson.I see that he is now listed as RB,WR in my yahoo league.
The positional flexibility is nice, but is there any real value here?
http://www.sbnation.com/fantasy/2014/10/16/6990575/denard-robinson-and-storm-johnson-splitting-carries-lack-fantasy-valueJacksonville Jaguars running backs Denard Robinson and Storm Johnson split the first-team reps at practice on Thursday, according to coach Gus Bradley.
With Toby Gerhart (foot) missing his opportunity, the Jaguars are going to look to improve their league-worst rushing attack. They weren't much better in Week 6 without Gerhart -- Robinson racked up only 22 yards as the top back and Storm added 21 yards to go with one touchdown. Johnson had three more touches than Robinson, but the latter was on the field for 11 more snaps. It'll likely be a similar scenario for the foreseeable future unless either guy separates himself.
This week, they'll take on the Cleveland Browns at home. The Browns have been giving up plenty of points, with the exception of last week against the Steelers, and they are giving up the third-most rushing yards in the league.
Fantasy impact: This is not a great scenario for fantasy owners. Johnson is probably the better player to own since Robinson is not going to be an every-down back. Neither are options in most leagues this week.
LOL, Robinson was the highest scoring player on my team this weekhttp://www.sbnation.com/fantasy/2014/10/16/6990575/denard-robinson-and-storm-johnson-splitting-carries-lack-fantasy-valueJacksonville Jaguars running backs Denard Robinson and Storm Johnson split the first-team reps at practice on Thursday, according to coach Gus Bradley.

Have Shady on a bye, so I'm starting Denard in my PPR keeper league over: C. Johnson, Mason, Cunningham, D. Freeman
Gerhart is out and he's splitting carries at home against the Browns. Time to show something!
