The schedule has done no favors for the Broncos' run defense in recent weeks. In fact, this may be one of the toughest stretches any run defense has faced in quite awhile. Consider:

Week 11: vs. LaDainian Tomlinson (105 rushing yards/4 total TDs)

Week 12: vs. Larry Johnson (151 rushing yards/1 TD)

Up next?

Week 13: vs. Shaun Alexander

And then?

Week 14: Tomlinson again

This is a pretty brutal month-long stretch for this run defense, which so far has shown no ability to stop an elite RB.

Eh, they'll get healthy again vs. SA this week. I'm still not sold on him; just b/c he got 40 carries vs. GB doesn't necessarily signal to me that he's back to form. IF he can close to the same production that LT or LJ had against Denver, then of course I'll eat my words. I don't see it happening though.. SA will reside on my bench yet again (haven't strted him since week 4--been riding Westbrook & Gore)
