Derek Anderson HURT (1 Viewer)

The way Anderson looked last night before getting hurt you would be crazy not to have Quinn. I know it is only preseason but he looked awful.

Anyone picking up Quinn?? Just picked him up in my deep 14 player league
It's always good to be proactive, if you need the spot later and everything's OK with Anderson, you can always dump him and go after someone else. If you dropped someone that probably wasn't going to help you very much, how could it hurt.

The bloom might be coming off his rose. Quinn is definitely worth a late grab due to the offense.

Quinn didn't look overly sharp. He does tend to check down way to often. On one play, he did air it out and it was under-thrown by quite a bit. The boxscore indicates touchdown due to the receivers remarkable/lucky catch on the play.

But Quinn does strike me as someone who is a hard worker and I think another year of on the bench will help his career.

 I wonder how Quinn would have looked if he had to play against the Giant starters? They dominated the Browns starting offensive line. I honestly was only mildly impressed with Quinn. While Anderson played bad, he certainly was not the entire problem. I was surprised by how porous the Brown offensive line looked in both pass protection and run blocking. They were terrible.

Maybe it was a different play altogether but on one play i seen him OVER throw his receiver by 5 yards on a deep pass.

The underthrow was the TD. It should have been intercepted, as the DB had it in both hands but ultimately tipped it up and the WR was able to pull it in for a long fluke TD.It kind of reminds me of two weeks ago, when everyone was explaining away Rodgers' interception as not his fault but failing to point out that his TD was a complete fluke (the James Jones helmet flying off TD).

I'm not saying whether Quinn looked good or bad, as I didn't see the game. But I saw that throw on the highlights, and it was underthrown and should have been picked off.

I'm stashing Quinn, but it has nothing to do with the injury.
thanks for sharing!
Anytime. Glad to help. I would have explained more, but since there are about 100 other threads on the Browns QB situation, I didn't think it was necessary or worth potentially hijacking this one for. Thanks and have a great day.
