This guy is bound to have a lot of passes thrown his way. I think that means value in most leagues.

edit: Just wanted to add that his tackling has been good in preseason.

Where did you see that he was starting? All the depth charts I see have hime as a backup.
Brian Williams got cut.Upon further review, I guess I should have said "likely" starting, because I can't find a link to an official announcement of Cox as a starter. I apologize if I jumped the gun, but all the media and sites covering the Jaguars seem to think he will start against the Colts.

In fact, the top four draft picks of the Gene Smith era, Eugene Monroe, Eben Britton, Terrence Knighton and Derrick Cox will most likely be starters when the whistle blows next Sunday.

The first four picks (Monroe, Britton, Knighton, and Cox) will be starters on opening day.

they cut Brian Williams, who’s played corner, safety and nickel for them. Tyron Brackenridge, an offseason waiver claim from the Jets, joins Scott Starks and Brian Witherspoon as the depth with rookie Derek Cox likely to start opposite Rashean Mathis.

Second-round offensive lineman Eben Britton is Jacksonville's likely Week One right tackle, and third-round cornerback Derek Cox will step up to replace Brian Williams.

If he starts and it appears likely, he should see a good bit of passes thrown his way. Would obviously have more value in CB required leagues, definitley a note-to-self.

Jags really like this kid, traded 2009 7th rd pick, and 2010 2nd to select Cox @ 3.09 (73). Felt comfortable enough to let Williams go.
