He was upgraded to probable, but is that reliable? I can safely start Andre Johnson in his place, so I'd rather not take the risk if Mason may come up lame.
as do i. i wish i had another option, but TJ is killing me. regardless, i think mcnair could go for 250/2, and theres no reason that mason couldnt pull in 5/80/1. i might just be an optimistic, drunk mason owner right now, but the ravens signed air for a reason, lets see if those 2 can get back on the same page. the fact they are ex-highly-successful teammates gives me some hope.-biz-

To tell you the truth, I'm glad I have Mark Clayton on my team - there's a decent chance that he will end up as the #1 Ravens WR this season. Someone is going to have a good season hauling in McNair's passes. My bet (especially for the draft-day value) is Mark Clayton.

I'll pass on Mason facing that Tampa D this week ... Key looks like a better option with Smitty on the limp ... but Mason will be the main man in Baltimore this season ...

D. Mason is my #2 WR, I've been debating starting Antonio Bryant over him this week, primarily based on the thigh injury. Really seems like a tossup to me. I've seen too many 'probable's sitting on the bench over the years.

Mason is my #2 and unfortunately Steve Smith is my #1. I might have to start both McCardell and Engram over those two. I think the injury will affect Smith more than Mason. Mason's issue will be the Bucs D more than his injury like wannabee said.
I think Mason is still the #1 in Baltimore because he was always McNair's go-to guy in Tennessee. I plan to start him this week, but I'm not happy about it. That's what happens when you wait til the 5th round to pick up a receiver (other starters this week = Coles, C Henry, benching Michael Clayton, T Williamson, B Engram).

I have to decide between Coles and Mason...right now I am have Mason simply because I think he has a better QB and offense than Coles....may change my mind, though...
