Derrick Ward starting over Brandon Jacobs (1 Viewer)

Derrick Ward will start Sunday, ahead of Brandon Jacobs.

This probably means the two will split carries equally despite reports Jacobs would get most of the load during the week. Jacobs still figures to get all the goal-line work, while Ward remains a decent flex in PPR leagues.

If you have to start one of them and don't have a better option from a different team, I would go with Jacobs. He is healthier than Ward and has the much higher chance of getting a TD.

I think that situation is a mess and should be avoided if you have a semi-decent option, IMO.

LenDale White is getting the start over those 2 guys in one league.

I was scolded in the RB thread for implying that Ward was the better play this week...we have not seen Jacobs in action post injury...

Jacobs has great hands....dont be so quick to count him out of the passing game. If he gets out into the open against a small JETS D, watch out.

What's your source for Jacobs being healthier? Ward was fine last week while Jacobs did not see the field.

Just look at FBG injury reports. According to that, Ward has been limited in practice all week while Jacobs has been full speed.
