**Detroit at Washington**(+8.5, 49.5) 4:25 (1 Viewer)

The line can't be big enough this week IMHO
Lions will bounce back hard after they lost to the Vikings last week, good wake up call for them
Washington lost more than just their starting QB last week, their season is spiraling out of control

Detroit 34...Washington 15

they have won/covered the spread the last 12 games following a loss. Aside from Washington being decimated by injuries, and their defense looking porous, the Lions will be motivated to avenge last year’s playoff loss. Even with the game outdoors, Goff and company should win big.

Despite his indoor/outdoor splits, I think this is a big Jared Goff week. Washington's pass D is awful, and the Lions likely try to jump out to an early lead and make Mariota play catchup. I think all of Amon-Ra, JaMo, and LaPorta have roome to eat. I think the run game can have success, but if I'm Detroit, I'm attacking the Washington weakness, and that's in the backend.

I don't see Washington doing much of anything on offense. Maybe they could run a little while the game is close, but how long will, that be? Not sure I'd want to be starting any Washington players this week and like the Lions D a lot. I will say, those looking for DFS darts, or really in trouble at WR, could give Jaylin Lane a look. This would have been a McLaurin week in my opinion.

Expecting a little payback for last year's playoff game.

Lions-35
Commanders-14

Dome team playing outside
Could limit the offense a bit
Home Teams defense is a mess
Home Teams offense is a mess
Visitors should be in control
Maybe Home Team scores late
so..

Lions- 34

Commies- 23

This is going to be a fun one for me to each. The Lions have to be thinking revenge a little bit and also ready to gear up for next week against Philly. Washington obviously is down their main guy and going with a backup QB for at least some time. I expect a brutal beat down

38-14 or something like that.

Just threw in a huge Detroit offensive explosion parlay.

My parlay:
DET -7.5
Gibbs anytime TD
DET 1st possession TD
DET over 29.5
St. Brown over 77 yard
St. Brown 6+ receptions

Only update we got on Sewell was that he walked off and went to the medical tent. Didn't return the rest of the series.

They thought they could trick them by acting like they weren’t going to snap it. Leads to a low-probability attempt and then a sack. Now they will punt, give up a TD drive, and be down 21-3.

Do other fanbases have to hear the words “busted coverage” multiple times every week by the announcers?

Don’t think that we are the best team in the league, but the one thing that I love about us is , and what we may be the best at, is just the all round mentality, drive and effort of every single player on the field. You see it time and time again with the O with all aspects of blocking down field and there again with the effort to get Gibbs over the line. It’s a Dan Campbell thing

Was it really necessary for them to go for 2?
It’s pretty typical when a penalty allows you to move to the 1, you go for two. Washington’s defense has provided no resistance, so it’s an easy decision….especially after one of Washington’s players just punched one of your best players and they knocked you out of the playoffs last year.

Too hard to tell from the angle I saw. Not expecting the no catch call to be overturned. But we'll see.

Other than incompletions, only one play has been for less than 3 yards (a 0 yard run by Gibbs).
