You're not the only one--I drank the Kool Aid too. Benched another decent player because I thought Henderson would go off again. Apparently (I didn't see the game), he not only didn't start, but never even saw a snap.

I benched Chad Johnson for him, beat that. I lost by 20. Oops. And no I do not know the answer.

C'mon the guy only had 2 TD's and 111 yards the week before. He didn't deserve to start!!!Seriously, I'm at a loss for words as to why he didn't even see a snap. I guess Copper was the guy to pick up after all, but who would have had any idea?

Come on..........it's funny! I don't think you read the subject title.Anyway, it is suprising that Henderson didn't get any looks yesterday. A lot of people, I'm sure, sat someone valuable to get him in there. Why come? I don't know. Why come the Dolphins beat the Bears? This gosh darned game is just to unpredicatable to be suprised about anything anymore.

I've been saying "why come" since I heard Prince inadvertently sing it in "How come you don't call me anymore?"Also, I benched Caldwell for Henderson when I heard Horn was downgraded and lost because of it.

Copper started last week at Tampa and started this week at Pitt. Henderson got about 20 snaps each game. During Payton's press conference today, he was asked about Devery, and SP said they ran several plays designed for him, but he just wasn't open. My take is that Tampa sold out to stop the run last week (which they accomplished) but overlooked the third WR who hadn't played in 3 of the 4 previous games due to injury (and didn't have a catch in the one game he did play). After a 3 catch for 111 yards 2 TD day, Pittsburgh was aware of him. Maybe too simplistic, but just my take.
And btw, Payton also said Horn would play vs Cincinnati, and probably could have gone this week, but they were not comfortable with his lack of reps during the week, thus sat him.

Actually I benched Joe Horn for him, figuring he'd be a reasonable replacement. He was injured just like Horn. I think it was a groin. He was listed as questionable on the injury report.
