who's rolling with him this week? I think he finds the end zone and is well targeted this week..what say you?
Bowman will be on Austin which is all the more reason to look Bryant's way. Bowman is better in coverage than Tilliman. Tillman stripping footballs causes more harm than good since it usually means a missed tackle. If you think the Cowboys will avoid Tillman because of his ball stripping ability you are mistaken.I'll probably play him over Dwayne Bowe this week. At least last week showed that DAL will force him the ball multiple times a game.ETA: also to add to this... If Tillman is on Austin, thats all the more reason to look Dez's way. Tillman might not be a great cover corner, but the guy forces fumbles like no other.
Same.Dez over Crabtree.....pretty obvious choice though IMO
I would go with Dez over R. Moss this weektempting but we're rolling with Boldin and Randy Moss over Dez
I wouldn't start Dez over Moss as of yet but Hines would be on my bench in a heartbeat.I am not. I didn't see anything that would make me sit guys like Santana Moss or Hines Ward, my No. 2 and 3 Wr's. I don't think he scores his 1st TD and I didn't see him open very often downfield if at all last week. He was targeted more than I thought he would be, but it takes more than just targets. If I were the Cowboys, I'd turn everything into a 2 man passing game with Austin and Witten and the run game. They tried to go to Dez just to say they did too often IMO and I didn't see a whole lot of production out of it. But then again, Jerry is stubborn and maybe they try and do it again to prove they didn't waste another 1st round pick this year.Anyway, he's on my bench as I'm in favor of S. Moss and H. Ward.
Ward will outscore dez in all formats. This is the essence of under appreciated and over hyped.I wouldn't start Dez over Moss as of yet but Hines would be on my bench in a heartbeat.I am not. Hmmm, what about formats that reward returns yards equal to receiving yards? I'm not saying that Dez is the favorite in this format, but I'm also not sure that Ward is a slam-dunk favorite either.Ward will outscore dez in all formats. Oh stop. Moss facing a banged up Revis needs to be in there.I would go with Dez over R. Moss this weektempting but we're rolling with Boldin and Randy Moss over Dez
agreed. With a favorable rushing match up and the coaching debacle last week, they will keep it more on the ground and less Dez who is in the mini doghouse anyway for telling a relative who told a stranger who told the world what plays Dez was going to run and when before the game Sunday. The dude is not savvy and his 16 Wonderlic score will keep him behind the big star 8 ball most of his career IMOI am not. Santana or Randy?Starting Dez over Royal, alongside Moss. Would NOT start him over Moss if I had to make that choice...

I have Santana and wouldn't start Dez over him at this point.RandySantana or Randy?Starting Dez over Royal, alongside Moss. Would NOT start him over Moss if I had to make that choice...
Probably a fair characterization. Just as has been the case with Michael Crabtree going into this season. Problem is, the diva act doesn't fly if you don't produce to back it up.Like most things, the truth probably lies somewhere in the middle here.Ward will outscore dez in all formats. This is the essence of under appreciated and over hyped.
I see that coming too - kids a playmaker - JJ will want him on the field...to anyone who watched the game, what happened on his 2 catches and how many snaps did he play? i saw the return TD, and after his performance yesterday and possible panic mode in dallas, roy getting the axe from wr2 could come sooner rather than later
Going back and forth between him and Knox. Dodds' rankings are swaying me towards Knox. Looking forward to see Bloom's projections this afternoon.Seems like the perfect WR3 to own and the matchup this week is about as good as it gets. You fellas starting Dez?
Just ignore Dodds he's had him in the 60s the last few weeks Ive started him every week with confidence and he's WR17On the Prelim PPR cheatsheet from Dodds, Bryant is way, way, way down the list. I don’t put just a ton of stock in the weekly rankings but if a player is slotted way off from where I would think then I will at least use that to reconsider.I see Bryant's role continuing to grow. Dallas will have to score points at Houston to keep up. Houston surrended 1 jillion passing yards to Peyton and then 1 billion to McNabb.Seems like the perfect WR3 to own and the matchup this week is about as good as it gets. You fellas starting Dez?
After playing 43 snaps in Week 1, Dez Bryant was on the field for just 28 snaps in Week 2.This had a little bit to do with a minor leg injury Bryant suffered in the fourth quarter Sunday. But the rookie was also spotted looking lost on his routes and it's possible the Cowboys aren't sure he's up to speed mentally yet. Bryant will get better rapidly as the season moves along, but for now he's a WR3.
Roy just looks like a big gangly goof out there after he catches the ball....he looks un-coordinatedI watched the whole game and I'd say he and Roy played to a draw. There was one catch Roy had that I think was intended for Austin cause Austin was right behind him. I didn't see Bryant do anything that I noticed being bad or that was called out by the announcers, but I/They could have missed something. However, a rookie WR occasionally looking lost on routes is expected and shouldn't affect their use of him. Roy often looks lost on routes and he's a seven-year vet.

I went to Texas and this one had me lolcoptering. Its true.Unrelated, i need to increase my usage of the word goof. Its a great word.
Much more in line with my thinking but I might bump him a little more. This game is going to be a barnburner and this could be the game when Dez puts Roy in the rearview.Bloom's projections are in and Dez is up much higher there.
In addition to a rib injury, Dez Bryant also appeared to get his leg "rolled up" last week against the Bears.Bryant was seen limping afterward and later spent time on the exercise bike. The Cowboys cited the rib injury for Bryant's absence Wednesday, so the lower leg injury doesn't appear to be serious. Check back late Thursday afternoon for an update on his status.
